Situated in Vargön, just 19 km from Vänersborg Train Station, Strandnära Stuga Vänersnäs features beachfront accommodation with free bikes, a garden, a private beach area and free WiFi. This place is absolutely amazing and I regret we only had short stay. I would definitely come back for longer relaxed holiday. We got a fully equipped small cottage - separate bedroom, bathroom and living space with modern kitchen equipment. Furnishing is stylish and looks new. Outside you can sit on the terrace and enjoy view of the beautiful horses. You are in the middle of nature. By short walk you get to a private beach on the lake - it is on the rocks, so maybe not for small children to play alone- but absolutely beautiful to sit, relax, you can do BBQ, swim. The nearest small town is 15 min drive where you have large supermarket and several restaurants. The hostess was friendly, came to welcome us and show everything.

Villa Billerud lies by the Byälven River, only 1.5 km from Säffle Train Station. In addition to free Wi-Fi and private parking, it offers a private beach with access to fishing and a big park. The breakfasts were OK, fresh and prepared every morning by very friendly staff. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in all aspects of our visit.
