The room was spotlessly clean, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed our little patio in front of our cabana where we watched baby chicks and their mom pass by every morning. Wit and Baw, the owners were the perfect hosts.

We had an amazing 6 day visit to Song Lay Resort! Comfortable, clean cabins ( a little small) centrally located to everything on the island. Close to the main street and the best restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The host Dolly was amazing, helping us with everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Arranged great day trips (thank you Tan and Amin!), suggested places to eat and gave us incredible personalized service. Highly recommend!!!!!

We loved staying here. The apartment was really spacious and clean. The garden it was set in was pretty and well kept. The little restaurant attached to it had fabulous views and amazing food. Great value too. The family who run this business are super friendly and helpful.

If you’re looking for an amazing home stay close to the pier with a lovely family who really make you feel cared for then please book this accommodation!! Room was very clean, comfortable and we had soaps provided along with daily coffees and waters. The family have a mini market, tour operations, motorbike hire and are so knowledgable about the local area! Couldn’t recommend it higher

Beautiful grounds with flowers and butterflies. Comfortable bungalows. The best part was the hospitality from Kookai and her family. She arranged all of our transport between islands and the airport— it was fast, well priced and hassle-free can’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic customer care. Easy to get anywhere on the island for just 50baht per person, they have a little motorcycle taxi at the hotel we never had to wait could easily pop into town whenever we wanted. Walking distance to lovely Charlie beach.

Enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful scenery and very comfortable accommodation. Fah was a great host who was so friendly and organised motorbikes rental, snorkeling and onward travel. We love Koh Mook and would love to return to Nurse House.

First and foremost, the staff are great: Nu and Eris were so friendly, chatty and helpful! Nu sat down with us on arrival to give us some much needed information about the island. He was always around with a smile and offered chat every time we saw him. Eris was so lovely and despite being new, you would never have known! We had a great chat and she was also so helpful when I cut my finger - giving excellent first aid! The owner was also around and very informative on places to visit around the island. Breakfast was delicious and well presented - we really enjoyed the waffle option! Huge and covered in yummy tropical fruit. The room was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. We loved the outdoor bathroom and being surrounded by wildlife. As others have mentioned, there are some very friendly dogs and cats resident on the property. We did get woken by the birds every morning, however for us it was no problem and enjoyed the early rise ready for a coffee on the terrace. They do provide ear plugs if needed! Cleanliness spot on and would love to come back again. Was a nice time to relax after being on a very hectic/busy Koh Lipe!
