The food was great, in particular the fish that come straight from the bay in front. The staff is fantastic: they're all very nice, friendly and helpful. I will come again!

The room was beautiful, beach was incredible, staff was SO accommodating. Service was excellent. The food was incredible. I couldn't have asked for a better resort. It was located just far enough from the tourism but still within reasonable distance to travel for shopping, etc.

We enjoyed every day spent at the resort! Time there seems to stand still thanks to the incredible beauty of nature, which a camera cannot capture, and thanks to the enormous (although invisible for the vacationers) work of all the staff. Many thanks to the manager Santosh, who was always available and committed to our comfort; to extremely friendly Preetya and Raul; to Surjeet who, amidst all his activities at the resort, found time to pick and break a coconut for us; and the housekeepers Mandarin and Sukanati, as well as any other staff members we haven't mentioned. Special thanks go to Rohit, a very attentive and pleasant person who took care of our needs from transfers to the hotel and a trip to the wildlife sanctuary to explaining the dishes at dinner and helping us with how to eat them properly! The beach is incredible; we met many travelers who envied our choice and came specifically to Cola Beach :p The hotel grounds are wonderfully designed, beautiful, and offer plenty of space for various activities. The food in the restaurant is delicious and absolutely hygienic. We absolutely fell in love with Soneka Cola and a little doggy Mary <3 !

Samyama Retreat is an incredible place, surrounded by the beauty of nature and just a few steps away from the beach. I have been to Goa multiple times, and every time I visit, this place is always on my list. This was my sixth visit, and this time, I came with my family, including my two kids—and we all had an amazing time. The hospitality and services here are outstanding. The owner, Vipin, is a genuinely kind person who goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels comfortable and supported. The food is fantastic, with excellent quality and the option to customize as per your preferences. Special mention to their bartender, Jalinder, who is always attentive and ensures your needs are met. One of the highlights of this retreat is the kayaking experience. They have kayaks right in front of the resort, and you can kayak straight to Cola Beach. The views during the kayaking journey are breathtaking, and it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss. Another unique feature is the lunch they arrange in the backwaters, with water flowing under your feet—it feels like heaven on earth. Everything about this place, from the scenic views to the overall stay experience, is exceptional. The staff, the service, the property, and the location are all perfect. state. If I could, I would rate Samyama Retreat 10 stars. It truly is a slice of paradise, and I can’t wait to return again!

It was very quiet at this property and on this section of the beach which is at the north end. The outdoor washroom was fun and we had a lot of privacy. The set back provides some separation from the beach yet you front directly onto the sand. The staff was very efficient and our concierge, Amar, was particularly helpful. We had a romantic dinner on our porch, arranged by him, on our first night and it was a great success.

The sea side bungalows are perfect, right at the northern part of the beach. Not many people, you almost have the beach for your self. The restaurant served room service quickly directly to the room, which was very nice.
