Featuring a large and open wooden deck overlooking El Nido Bay, El Gordo's Seaside Adventure Lodge provides dormitory and private rooms with free Wi-Fi. I can't list enough good things about this place. From the get go, Gordon and Christina made me feel so welcome and at home, they were very helpful with all kinds of travel advise, and talking with them is like talking to old friends. Booking tours was also a breeze! Personally I was also impressed with the hostel itself, the beauty, the view, the places to sit and chill, the dormitory size, the wifi speed, cleanliness, and above all: EVERY BED HAS ITS OWN FAN!!! Which keeps you cool and the mosquitoes away. It was one of the most comfortable hostels I've ever been! Also, far away from the ruckus of the extremely tourist area, this is a great hostel for everyone, but I'd say especially for people that want to experience Philippines and meet real people who live there, and not just beaches and party.

Everything was fabulous, the bed was comfy, breakfast delicious, and room was cozy. Elmo was a super gracious and kind host who did the utmost. He even parked crooked to save us a parking space when we came in late.

What I really liked about this stay was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. (shout out Remy), and another staff member whose name I unfortunately forgot. They kindly helped treat my leg after I accidentally fell into a hole, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was very nice, clean, and well equipped with plenty of amenities. I was impressed by the high-quality equipment, such as the Smeg water heater and Dyson hair dryer, as well as the LED mirror. The air conditioning was very cold, making the room extremely comfortable. The location was also great, just outside the main town, so it was peaceful and away from the noise, yet still convenient. Additionally, the hotel did an excellent job arranging my Tour A activities and assisting with bike rental, which made my stay smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
