The whole experience was amazing. As soon as we arrived on the farm, we were greeted by the dog and the little girl who were both adorable. The gradmother let us roam around the grounds and explore the fields with some goats. The farm is quite remote so you can really sense the feel of authentic Rumanian village life. But the hotel on the farm was super clean and the rooms were modern. The grandmother also made us a lovely traditional meal. But you have to ask in advance. Also you need to pay at the premises and they don't take cards. It was our best stay in Romania!

The location is fantastic, just off the main road, with view of the mountains. Hosts are incredibly knowledgeable about the area, as well as Romanian history in general, they speak French & English & are incredibly gracious and generous! food is ample and delicious.

If you are looking for a traditional taste and the comfort of the Romanian countryside, this is the place for you . The maramures people are warm and kind. The village where Casa Traditiilor is located is beautiful. The host was warm and friendly, the room was spotless, spacious, the homemade dishes were absolutely amazing and exquisite. One of our best stays. I rate this place a 10+. You will enjoy your stay. It is absolutely worth it! ❤️ I will come back and stay here.
