The kitchen was super clean and very cosy living room. So happy we chose this place for our stay!

I arrived at 5 pm on short notice, but host Peter was still able to prepare the most delicious dinner. Organic pork from local farm, the best sauerkraut I've ever had, and a superb Austrian white wine. Room exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast excellent. The building is beautiful, located against a hillside with views of the town, and even a source of spring water flowing to the property. Worth a detour!

Set in Admont, within 5.4 km of Admont Abbey and 9.1 km of Hochtor, Xeis NeSt provides accommodation with pool with a view as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Highly individual and stylish modern Alpine decor. So well constructed, bright with great facilities and equipment. Relaxed atmosphere, Tomas and his team were so welcoming. Plenty of space to park, and space to breathe. Rooms are comfortable and we loved the backdrops of nature. Our room Enns resounded with the gentle sound of the outside passing brook. Glad we sampled the breakfast (excellent, quality and served by Karen with warmth and friendliness). Also able to try the Xeis Stube, reservation recommended. Music night was fun with locals coming together to jam. Food was good and plentiful. We also used the village swimming pool which was excellent, clean with stunning scenes all round. Highly recommend Admont kloster library - the ticket encompasses an additional 3 museums (natural history, medieval art, kloster history and fine art collect). Their restaurant was superb. The area is stunning and you need a car to explore. We were in awe of the road to Johnsbach and the surrounding treks and mountains.
