We stopped by for a night on our way north. We found it by chance, and are so glad we stopped by (could easily have stayed for longer if we had time). Our one-year-old daughter enjoyed watching the cows, the chickens and the cats.

Located within 3.4 km of Elia Sculpture and 5.7 km of Herning Kongrescenter in Herning, Den Japanske Have B & B provides accommodation with seating area. The property is located a little outside Herning in a quiet residential area. The rooms (I have stayed there twice) are fantastic and excitingly decorated. Everything feels brand new and everything is in top condition and perfectly clean. The staff is accommodating and friendly. The breakfast room is adjacent to the fantastic Japanese garden outside. The breakfast is good and you can have breakfast very early in the morning, which is not possible in all hotels. All in all, you feel very much at home and you sleep well because everything is so quiet around you. Nearby there is a supermarket and a kebab restaurant which are perfectly fine. There are probably more that I haven't discovered, but you can get by with these two shopping places and it's not far to Herning.
