The family that owns and runs this hostel are a treasure! The breakfast is modest but still good. They are obsessive about cleaning, so the place is always perfectly spotless. It's very excellently priced, and they have a nice, large outdoor, ground-level terrace in the front with excellent rain covering even during the hardest storms. I work remotely, so I really look forward to a dedicated working area, which they have! They have a little office area in the back of the hostel with a desk, a nice background, and good lighting (for those of us that need to be on video calls).

The place was very clean and they did recycling as well, the place got a nice terrace and the staff was the most helpful and nicest staff I have witnessed in my 5 months of traveling, highly recommend :)

Great hospitalyti, very very good staff. Beatiful building! Free coffi some drinks during night and day time. Good breakfast. Extra large bed. Hot Water in the sink, whot IS not common in Ecuador. Biggest hugs to staff it was lovly!

I have stayed for 2 nights in the starlight hostel and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is located in the beautiful village of the Quilotoa Loop. The view from the hostel is just stunning, the food delicious, the blankets are warm, the owners and workers such nice people. I absolutely recommend you to stay there to see how the sunset lights the mountains and clouds come to the valley. Gracias por el lugar tan hermoso!

Wonderful place to stay if you want to visit the Cotopaxi National Park. Darwin is an amazing host and chef. His was definitely the best food we had in Ecuador over the course of 3.5 weeks. Darwin and his family put all their hearts into making you welcome and comfortable. We hope to come back to their place some day for a longer period of time!
