The bed was very large and extremely comfortable . Chez Jack is in an excellent location within Confolens. Breakfasts were excellent , really good choice and everything fresh . The hosts were lovely, couldn’t do enough for us . Would definitely return to Chez Jack .

The chateau had been restored to a very high standard, keeping many original features but with some modern additions. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Other areas of the house were also available for residents to use. The grounds were well tended and nice to stroll around, and outside seating was also present. A fresh and tasty breakfast was provided in a light and airy room and was buffet style. The chateau was located in a quiet location yet was quite close to a main town. Our dog was welcomed :)
