Tastefully decorated and very spacious room which had everything we wanted . . The bed was very large and extremely comfortable . Chez Jack is in an excellent location within Confolens. Breakfasts were excellent , really good choice and everything fresh . The hosts were lovely, couldn’t do enough for us . Would definitely return to Chez Jack .

Everything, such a lovely place and the hostess was absolutely gracious and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best scrambled eggs I ever had, from their own hens😀Everything has a loving vibe, you won’t find a better place.

The chateau had been restored to a very high standard, keeping many original features but with some modern additions. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Other areas of the house were also available for residents to use. The grounds were well tended and nice to stroll around, and outside seating was also present. A fresh and tasty breakfast was provided in a light and airy room and was buffet style. The chateau was located in a quiet location yet was quite close to a main town. Our dog was welcomed :)

Excellent location and very good quality accommodation. Host was very helpful and breakfast very good including oranges to have freshly squeezed orange juice.
