Lovely room and property, very relaxing and well equipped.. Our host and her staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and brought to our room on a tray, table in the room with linen cloth , napkins and silverware was top notch. The view of the pasture with prize horses was also enchanting.

Featuring quiet street views, Chez Marie et Angel provides accommodation with a balcony, around 48 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune. They are delightful hosts, and accommodated my early arrival.

Featuring quiet street views, La Treille Muscate offers accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 24 km from Vézelay Basilica. Patricia was a wonderful host. Her house is beautiful, very tastefully decorated and she is so welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our night with her.

Offering a garden and garden view, Maison Sainte Barbe is situated in Autun, 49 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune and 50 km from Beaune Train Station. This is a jewel, a beautiful little place tucked away just behind Autun Cathedral (but you can drive to it). It is a B&B, so you get a wonderful breakfast. The host/hostess are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They sent me on a delightful hike through the town and out into the countryside which was *exactly* what I wanted to do. At the same time, they were perfectly respectful of my desire for privacy. The room was charming and decorated with a bit of "Provencal" colored textiles. If this place is available when you are going to Autun, you should definitely reserve it.

Offering inner courtyard views, La Rose des vents is an accommodation located in Saint-Symphorien-de-Marmagne, 49 km from Nicéphore-Niépce Museum and 49 km from Arts Center. The room was nicely decorated and a good size. The bed was very comfy.

Featuring pool with a view, garden and views of pool, Le Chêne d’Or is set in Marcheseuil, 48 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune. Charming property with friendly and helpful hosts. My kids loved the horses in the next pasture and the play areas in the garden. Breakfast was very hearty and we ate dinner there twice, which was also lovely with an extensive wine list. We hope to return!

Set in Bazoches and only 13 km from Vézelay Basilica, LE RELAIS VAUBAN offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a wonderful stay at Le Relais Vauban at the end of our first day walking on the Voie de Vézelay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We had an absolutely delicious dinner in the restaurant. Francois is a gracious host and an amazing chef. All of his staff were equally gracious. In the morning, we were served a delicious French breakfast with flakey croissants right out of the oven and they prepared baguette sandwiches for us to take with us on that day’s walk. We highly recommend staying and dining at Le Relais Vauban!

45 km from Auxerre Clock Tower in Chevroches, Le Domaine des Carriers features accommodation with access to a fitness room. This was a peacefull facility with a fabulous garden and swimming pool. The room is spacious and staff was friendly. Definitely a place not to miss.

Located in Saint-Didier-sur-Arroux, 29 km from Autun Golf Course, Le Dosne provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Newly renovated property with top materials. Big, comfy and very clean rooms. Great breakfast with home made jam. Definitely will come back. Recommended!
