How to open the windows (different than any windows in the US)? There’s a video to show you how. The proprietor of this property is great with communication and accommodating requests when possible. This isn’t really a hotel per se. It appears to be a residential building with 4 private hotel rooms inside and they are super secure and super quiet. Keyboard entry and welcome drinks. Such amazing hospitality!

Rooms were nice, AC was already on and it was much appreciated since it was close to 40°C that day. Very modern with everything that we needed, super comfy soft bed. And most importantly super welcoming and accommodating.owner and staff. We got locked out and he was there in a minute, I had a question about the ferry and the front desk staff was super helpful and placed a call on my behalf. We already checked out but my boys wanted to watch a soccer game so the owner asked the coffee staff to set it up for us to watch. As a rental owner myself, I really do appreciate the attentiveness. The owner family and the staff are exceptionally good hosts. Nice, clean and comfortable room. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful vacation in Makarska, I would highly recommend Casa Columba.
