Το JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us, το οποίο βρίσκεται μπροστά στη θάλασσα σε Bukit Lawang, έχει μπαρ. Alek, the owner, is very available to help us to find the best guide to do a trek in the jungle during 3days to see Orangs outang and other monkeys. He helps us to do laundry, find a taxi to arrive and to leave Bukit Lawang. We visited the bat cave, the market on Friday and the recycling factory near the homestay. The room was comfortable, the bed was very big and comfortable too, with a mosquito net. You can swim every day in the river just in front of the guesthouse with a lot of local kids. There is a restaurant in the homestay or around. You can ask what you need to Alek, he knows every body in Bukit Lawang;-) Thank you Alek for your welcoming.

The hosts Dong and Seska were so friendly and helpful which made it my stay a memorable one. There is a bar / restaurant across the road which does great food and the bar has live music on a Saturday night which is also very good. I rented a motorbike which was very handy from the accommodation which was convenient and a good price too and they also provide a good laundry service. The upstairs area at the front was good for chilling out with a nice view of the lake. I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Try the Tuak when you're there - it's the local palm wine.

They are genuinely good people who really care about you, the community and also the environment. Tips: - Go have dinner with them at least once. Yuyun is a really good cook. And there is a future restaurant in the making! - Ask Borja for tips what to do around the island and where to get the best coffee. - Rent a scooter from the hosts to see the island. They are safe, well-maintained and helmets available. - Rent snorkel equipment from the hosts. (One of) the most beautiful snorkeling spot(s) is right in front of you. - If you want to go diving, make sure to enquire about it with Borja and Yuyun as they are both divemasters.

Sarah was very communicative during the booking process too. Eli the chef is really talented, we wished we could have eaten more there!
