And rest assured that Dimmer (the host) will take care of you and make arrangements for you - Truly the best homestay I have ever stayed at in a very beautiful place.

Our first stop in Sumatra was at Lilly's Guesthouse, where we were very warmly welcomed by her and her husband Ishako. From the first moment we felt welcome and completely at home. We booked a two-day jungle trek. Our adventure began on the second day after our arrival, together with our guide Iman and a French couple, Carolane and Romain. There was immediately a nice click, and so we trekked into the jungle together. Blood, sweat, but no tears - what an experience! Without Iman, the trek would definitely not have been the same. What a top guy! After two days of trekking and a night's sleep in the middle of the jungle, we arrived safely back at the guesthouse. How happy we were to finally shower again and sleep in a comfortable bed! As icing on the cake, we also enjoyed a wonderful massage - how good that felt! After that we wanted to travel on to Lake Toba, and coincidentally that was also Lilly's plan with her family. Transportation was completely arranged by them, and together we traveled to our next destination. Along the way, we had lunch together, took the same ferry and once again shared beautiful, enjoyable moments. In Tuktuk our paths parted, as we had each booked our own guesthouse, but we met up a few more times. Each time it was a warm reunion! What we really want to say: we felt like one of them. Situé à Padang (Sumatra), l’établissement Mila Homestay possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. Absolutely perfect stay at Mila Homestay! Everything was spotless — super clean room, a big comfortable bed, hot shower, and great AC. The breakfast (made by Michaël) was delicious — and even served with a smile if you oversleep by more than an hour 😄 But the real highlight was the hosts, Dila and Michaël. They are truly the best hosts you could wish for — incredibly kind, helpful, and genuine. They helped us with everything: transportation, tickets, and local tips. Dila took us to the city and market several times and always managed to get us amazing deals. We feel so lucky to have met them — not just as hosts, but now as friends. ❤️ We can’t recommend Mila Homestay enough!✨️🔝

Superbe emplacement avec une vue magnifique sur les îles. J'ai passé qu'une nuit et Robert a été très accueillant et c'est occupé de réserver les billets pour le fast ferry Mentawai du lendemain

Tout le personnel aux attentes de leurs clients, service de navette depuis Medan et pour Berastagi, activité proposé incroyable (2J1N) dans la jungle ce que je recommande fortement, gardiennage des bagages pendant l'activité, très bon rapport qualité/prix, restaurant en face très bon, emplacement proche de la nature, de la rivière et de la jungle

The room was super clean and very comfortable. Dong who runs the place will make sure you have a very memorable stay. The service and hospitality of everyone connected to Toba Boi is exceptional. I had such a fantastic stay here.

Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!

From the first contact on everything was organized perfectly (transport from and to the airport, the trek, finding a group to treck with etc.). The staff is really nice, you feel like family there. They also invited me for dinner and we talked about many different things, like culture differences. I did a 2 day 1 night treck with Rian (Guide), Sarol (Assistant Guide) and Mawan (Chef). A very good experience with a lot of explanations and fun. The food was also delicious. You can see, that they have a lot of experience.
