Well, I have to start and probably go on with Deepesh , the heart and soul of Shivnandan Stay , Ujjain. This is a 23 year old truly matured and pleasing person ( though his voice on phone and in person is still very boyish and innocent one ). Right from the time after booking and until every communication and contact that I had he was always prompt , polite and quick to dispel all my queries and clarifications. He was available on whatsapp and phone alike and sometimes a little delayed obviously since he is literally a 1 boy/man show at this really comfortable , covering all basics and clean homestay which is about 500 mtrs walking to Mahakaleshwar Mandir. It's a simple yet fulfilling all requirement stay with clean bed and pillow, fresh and clean washroom with hot water. One has to climb 2 floors but that should not be a problem as even our suitcase he carried it himself even though I did not want him to. He obliged us with a much early hour and half check in as we had to get fresh and start quickly for a far off temple. He got us tea and on the final day did not even charge for it saying it was from his side. This is not to please us or anything but having travelled all over, it was his way of thanking us for the stay. Here I have to inform readers that he gave us a room with 4 beds though we were only two of us and we did not ask him why. Shivnandan Stay with Deepesh at the helm is a small gem of a stay at Ujjain very close to Temple and with basic comforts A/C (We did not use being cold in the 2nd week of Jan26) fan, good sleep quality , an all attentive host , clean washroom, kettle , TV etc (Which we did not use again due to time constraint and Bhasma Aarti timings). It is my honest opinion to travellers to check this place for their short or long stay in Ujjain and get all information and assistance from Deepesh and make your trip a pleasant and happy one.
