Staying at the Guesthouse is a must if you go to Katsuyama and visit the dinosaur museum, especially if you have children, even older ones. The stay enhanced the experience. As other reviews have attested, I confirm the hospitality the owners provided us and went beyond our expectations. Many people will visit the museum as a day trip. However, I highly recommend staying overnight if you are a Japanese national with children or, like me, an international tourist.

温泉民宿三国縁 está en Sakai, a 20 km de Phoenix Plaza y a 21 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. The appartement was very clean, serene and calming. It has a nice Japanese feel and the hosts were very kind!

越前海岸 ゲストハウス オーシャンズ Echizen Seaside Guesthouse OCEAN'S, que se encuentra a 26 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza y a 26 km de Phoenix Plaza, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño... We absolutely loved staying with Nori and could not have asked for a better host. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm and welcoming, helped us plan our trip, spent time talking with us, and shared tea while making us feel truly at home. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and treated us like family rather than guests. His house was absolutely wonderful, charming, and thoughtfully cared for, and the town itself was beautiful and peaceful. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip and made the entire experience feel extra special.

京町レジダンス está en Echizen-shi, a 18 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall y a 24 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

Large modern home, parking outside the front door, quiet neighbourhood, fully equipped kitchen, huge rooms, air-conditioning in every room, dimmable lighting, oversize very comfortable beds - amongst the best we’ve slept on in Japan.

貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne está en Ōno, a 26 km de Templo Eihei-ji y a 29 km de Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall. What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

恐竜博物館まで車で5分 自然体験 古来農業体験ができる一棟貸し宿Dinosaur Agri está en Katsuyama, a 26 km de Templo Eihei-ji, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. My daughter loved dinosaur dress up and everything we needed was there. The owner was so kind and friendly, gave us a lift to the nearest station every time we went snowboarding. Little kids would love this place. The accommodation was so comfortable warm, clean and felt safe, welcoming Thank you for the best hospitality. We enjoyed our stay so much that didn't want to leave ！ Highly recommend We will definitely come back again when we visit Fukui in future.

Tsumesyo Mikuni está en Sakai, a 20 km de Phoenix Plaza, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis y jardín. The house is beautifully designed and has plenty of space to hang out and eat. The location is good for walking around the cute town of Mikuni.

Echizen Guesthouse TAMADA se encuentra en Fukui, a 20 km de Phoenix Plaza y a 21 km de Fukui International Activities Plaza. It's an old traditional building and the renovated warehouse is fantastic.

ほぼ家 se encuentra en Tsuruga, a 14 min a pie de Santuario Kehi Jingu, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado, salón de uso común y restaurante. The venue was impeccably clean, and the staff was very accommodating. Also, it’s located in a very unique neighborhood near several historical and cultural attractions. It’s is a great value, even for a solo traveler.
