26 km from Eiheiji Temple, 11月フルリフォーム 12月オープン恐竜一色ゲストハウスDinosaur Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Katsuyama and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was quirky and fun. There was a shared kitchen with everything you need to make yourself breakfast. The owner could not have been kinder - he met us at the train station and drove us to the guesthouse, later he took us to a restaurant (after discussing what kind of food we wanted) and collected us afterwards. The next morning he drove us to the dinosaur museum in time to make our reservations. Amazing service!

Boasting a garden and views of garden, 温泉民宿三国縁 is a recently renovated guest house set in Sakai, 20 km from Phoenix Plaza. A hot spring bath is available for guests. The appartement was very clean, serene and calming. It has a nice Japanese feel and the hosts were very kind!

Located within 26 km of Fukui International Activities Plaza and 26 km of Phoenix Plaza, 越前海岸 ゲストハウス オーシャンズ Echizen Seaside Guesthouse OCEAN'S provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared... We absolutely loved staying with Nori and could not have asked for a better host. From the moment we arrived, he was so warm and welcoming, helped us plan our trip, spent time talking with us, and shared tea while making us feel truly at home. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and treated us like family rather than guests. His house was absolutely wonderful, charming, and thoughtfully cared for, and the town itself was beautiful and peaceful. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip and made the entire experience feel extra special.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 京町レジダンス is located in Echizen-shi, 34 km from Eiheiji Temple and 5.1 km from Sundome Fukui. By far my favourite place to stay in Japan so far. The ladies who welcomed us was so incredibly sweet; they showed us around and one of them even took us to the local shrine so my kids could enjoy the ice cream I had purchased from their sister store.

Set in Ōno, 貸切宿 だんねだんね Private guest house Danne-Danne is a recently renovated accommodation, 29 km from Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall and 30 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza. The house is absolutely wonderful, it seems to come out from anime!! Personally I had it all for myself, but it's so big it's great also for families! Yukie-San, the owner, was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help me in every possible way, from the amenities, to local gifts, to tips where to eat, what to try and experience. She even helped me with the links and maps positions of so many places and was always quick at answering! I promise you'll feel at home here and won't regret staying here even if it's just for a couple of nights!

Set 31 km from Phoenix Plaza, 31 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza and 33 km from Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall, 恐竜博物館まで車で5分 自然体験 古来農業体験ができる一棟貸し宿Dinosaur Agri offers accommodation... My daughter loved dinosaur dress up and everything we needed was there. The owner was so kind and friendly, gave us a lift to the nearest station every time we went snowboarding. Little kids would love this place. The accommodation was so comfortable warm, clean and felt safe, welcoming Thank you for the best hospitality. We enjoyed our stay so much that didn't want to leave ！ Highly recommend We will definitely come back again when we visit Fukui in future.

Situated just 20 km from Phoenix Plaza, Tsumesyo Mikuni offers accommodation in Sakai with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as luggage storage space. The house is beautifully designed and has plenty of space to hang out and eat. The location is good for walking around the cute town of Mikuni.

Echizen Guesthouse TAMADA, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Fukui, 20 km from Phoenix Plaza, 21 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza, as well as 25 km from Fukui Prefecture... It's an old traditional building and the renovated warehouse is fantastic.

Located just 1.2 km from Kehi Jingu Shrine, ほぼ家 provides accommodation in Tsuruga with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Beautiful old Japanese building in a quite road 20 mins away from the station. The room was much more spacious than I had expected. An old building but very well taken care of - did not feel rundown at all. Basic facilities like microwave, fridge, hot water and an induction hob is provided. Everything was very very clean. I had seen a comment here that the shower room can't be used in the morning but that was not the case when I was there. Note that the shower room is shared among ~4 rooms so might need to take turns during busier times (not the case neither for me as only two rooms were occupied then).
