Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The property was amazing and the host was super kind and polite. The room was an old style Japanese room with futon. Breakfast and dinner were also good. Bathrooms are shared but very clean. The common area is a plus where you can meet other people and share experiences. I totally recommend it.

1 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw is located in Onomichi and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Everything was absolutely amazing, and especially the service. The owner is so kind and helpful. He helped us out so much and even drove us to the ferry. If you are ever in Onomichi don’t hesitate to book this place, the kindness and hospitality of the owner alone is enough to make the stay worthwhile.

Incredibly clean and lots of privacy. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Merevaatega Guest House Gamigami pakub aia, terrassi ja ühise puhkeruumiga majutust Saikon-ji templist umbes 3,1 km kaugusel. Gamigami is located with a fantastic view across the inland sea with islands near and in the distance. It is a pity that cables are in this view as seen from the rooms but you can go up on the flat roof for an unobstructed view. It is not very far on a nearly flat road to the ferry to Onomichi so it makes a good last night if you are cycling from Imabari taking several days as we did. We had a comfort Japanese style room.

We loved to stay at this traditional Japanese house, the common living room is so nice and there is a piano😍 the futon bed was very comfortable. I was a bit afraid before, as I am used to sleeping on soft mattresses. But it was great! There is a second mattress that you can tuck under the futon. We slept very well.
