Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It was our second time staying here and we were pleased to be here the same as the first time. Definitely a good decision to have an overnight at Miyajima and support local family business. Everything felt very "home-like". Although the building is not new and onsen that they have is far from real onsen at other ryokan type hotels, to even have this option is very nice. Breakfast is very simple, but it is definitely enough. They even provide beer and ice cream for extra payment on the spot, you don't need to go all the way to Family mart. Location is very convenient for one night-stayers. They even prepare a curry for dinner. I cannot express the level of kindness of the owner and the cozy feeling during our stay. This is a true Japanese experience. Hopefully, the owner will accept our group next year as well :)

Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

HEM'S HOTEL asub Miyajimas, 300 meetri kaugusel Viietorustikust pagoodist. Kohapeal on konditsioneeriga toad ja aed. Terrassiga külalistemaja asub mitmete tuntud huviväärsuste lähedal. Wonderful guest house hotel. Just us. Very peaceful and authentic. Spacious private clean room. Wonderful kind friendly host. Who made us a lovely breakfast. Was one of the hi lights of our two weeks in Japan.

Set just 1.2 km from Remains of Ochaya - Honzin, 西条ゲストハウス八反 offers accommodation in Higashihiroshima with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The room was clean and the owner was very kind and nice person.

1 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw is located in Onomichi and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Nice guesthouse with friendly owners.

Guest house kusunoki (naised) Ainult) asub Fukuyamas, 8,9 km kaugusel Miroku no Satost, 9 km kaugusel Jodoji templist ja 10 km kaugusel Oogamiyama Omoto pühamust. The building has been beautifully renovated, everything is new and plush. I’ve never stayed in such a first class hostel. The sliding doors for privacy by each bed are just great! The owner is lovely and strives to give an excellent service. He let me check in early because I arrived by bicycle (twice in fact). I returned because I liked it so much and felt at home. The place is probably the cleanest hotel in Japan, and that’s saying something. Also, the dining room chairs are so comfortable. Highly recommend.

Merevaatega Guest House Gamigami pakub aia, terrassi ja ühise puhkeruumiga majutust Saikon-ji templist umbes 3,1 km kaugusel. The location is simply stunning, the guesthouse sits peacefully on the seafront of tranquil Mukaishima Island, surrounded by lush vegetation and easily accessible by car. It's the perfect destination if you're cycling along the Shimanami Kaido. Youko is an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for bike rentals, local restaurants, and activities, and every day left thoughtful notes at reception highlighting events happening in the area. When we accidentally left our backpack (with passports inside!) at the guesthouse, she promptly mailed it to our next destination without hesitation. Our 8-year-old daughter, Alice, loved the play area in the communal dining space, bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, and meeting the resident animals: friendly sheep, two charming cats, and Maroon, the adorable dog. The property itself is spotless. We stayed in one of the Japanese-style rooms, which felt spacious by Japanese standards, and offered spectacular views over the bay. The rooftop terrace was another highlight for us. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, it’s truly a special place.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei asub Onomichis, 100 meetri kaugusel Senkoji templist. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Külalised saavad nautida kohapealset baari. The guestroom and the view is absolutely spectacular. As a guest, you are also allowed to stay and relay in the coffee/teahouse - which is also lovely. The location on the hill was for me a perfect break from all the city hustle and bustle. I would stay again anytime!
