Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Really lovely welcoming guesthouse with great staff. Food was everything we needed.

Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Unique hotel in a renovated Japanese home. Great location, quiet. It was very hot so a/c had difficulty keeping up but small issue for us. Great staff who served us a delicious breakfast which was included.

Set just 1.2 km from Remains of Ochaya - Honzin, 西条ゲストハウス八反 offers accommodation in Higashihiroshima with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Overall this was better than some private accommodations I have stayed in the past. The hostel room only has 6 beds. The bathrooms were clean and specious. Really enjoyed. Bed was nice after sleeping on wood tile for 3 days.

1 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw is located in Onomichi and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. They stored our bags for free while we biked the Shimanami Kaido. Great communication.

The guesthouse is right on the beach and a perfect stop while doing the Shimanamikaido bike trail The owner is very friendly and welcoming The tatami room with futons was very comfortable for our family of 4.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei asub Onomichis, 100 meetri kaugusel Senkoji templist. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Külalised saavad nautida kohapealset baari. Fantastic rooms with an excellent view of Onomichi. The rooms were done in traditional Japanese style with futons and tatami mats, which felt authentic. The shared shower and cleaning faciltiies looked fine, even though we didn't use them. The cafe was really nice and the staff there were attentive and gave a thorough overview on arrival.

The property itself is gorgeous with a beautiful view to wake up to every morning. The owner was so welcoming and lovely too and gave us a great tour before helping us settle into our room.
