The room was big, cosy and clean, and the bed super comfortable! Access is super easy, if you arrive late, the check-in instructions are very clear and easy! The street is pretty busy, but if you keep the window/balcony door closed, there is definitely no problem with the noise, plus there is AC in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, and the location is great, very close to the bus station, or just a short walk to the ferry. There are several shops around to buy food, drinks whatever you want.

We stayed at this hotel for five days in April. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of variety, and we were additionally served coffee or tea at the table. We had our stay in the grand suite, the room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was cleaned everyday. The shower was very pleasant, and all necessary facilities were available! The staff was also incredibly friendly—nothing was too much to ask. You could approach them with anything. We were offered a welcome drink and some information about the history of Malta upon arrival. I personally requested extra air conditioning, and within 15 minutes, an extra fan was brought to the room. The location of the hotel was perfect. Close to public transport and to the ferry terminal. Also easy to reach by taxi. Valletta is a beautiful city full of history, and everything else on the island is also easy to access. The area around the hotel was peaceful and calm, which made for a relaxing stay.

We stayed at Duncan Guesthouse for the last day of our Malta round trip in November 2025, and it was a perfect choice. The location is fantastic – a great terrace directly at the harbor in Marsaxlokk. We didn’t try other accommodations in the area, but it’s hard to imagine a better location. Our room also had a balcony, which was a big plus. During our stay, the building was still being renovated. Our room was already completely new, but a few small details were still being finished, so objectively it would be more like 9 out of 10 points. However, we still give 10 points because of the outstanding service: we had to leave very early for the airport, and the breakfast room was opened especially for us with an individual breakfast prepared. We also received great tips upon arrival that were very helpful for our short stay. We can highly recommend this guesthouse. By the start of the next season, all renovations will likely be finished and all rooms should be at the very latest standard. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The place is awesome: super clean, spacious, nice bathroom. The location is perfect, very close to the ferries. The "staff" was very supportive online.
