The history of the building told by Tess was impressive and made me appreciate all the many years of work behind the service. The decor evidenced the history. The catering was very personal and customised as breakfast was served on a beautiful balcony overlooking a large old fruit tree arching over the entrance. At night you can see fruit bats circling the fruit tree. My children were able to pick their own fresh letuce for breakfast in their hydroponic garden and it was served immediately. They enjoyed the pancakes!! We stayed in the family room which had a very comfortable king size bed and everything was spotless. The shower was very nice and spacious. Tess was very accommodating allowing late check in and also providing us with a last minute single room for an extra guest and parking. The entrance reception had a nice welcoming ambience and photos with written reviews by travellers from around the world complimenting their stay were pinned on the wall. I would definitely like to stay there again and would reccomend. Thanks Tess and team!

The apartment was beautifully fitted out and very comfortable. I was feeling unwell on arrival and was lucky enough to get an early check-in as the room was ready. I didn't leave the apartment for my one night stay except for some easily accessible eateries & pharmacy downstairs, watched some Netflix and had a great night's sleep while Makarti partied. I didn't hear a thing from inside.
