Sonia and Jonah were amazing hosts. We had a terrific stay at the Vila. They took time to welcome us, to provide us with useful information about how to get around, where you eat and what to do. Our room was very comfortable even though it was not the biggest. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. There was even a make-up mirror. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Even for my wife who is wheat and dairy allergic. Many alternatives were available. The light in the room was very pleasant because it was not the usual white blinding light. Our room was overlooking a small garden and next to the breakfast room there was another bigger garden. The Vila is located only 10 minutes away by walking distance from the town center. By the way, Coimbra is a very lovely student town that we highly recommend to visit as much as to stay at Vila Julieta.

The house is very well renovated. Beautiful property with very interesting history. Everything was perfect, the room, the bed, bathroom, breakfast, service, free parking. Parking in the historical center of Viseu was impossible. Very friendly host who took the time to tell us stories about the history of the house. We will definately come back.

Bruno was incredibly kind, always responded promptly, and did his best to meet the expectations of his guests. We were especially grateful that he allowed us to check in early upon arrival and also kindly stored our luggage after check-out — it was a huge help. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable to relax in. The housekeeper also had a warm and friendly demeanor. Although we only stayed one night in Coimbra, we wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the city!
