This was a truly delightful place to stay. The hosts are thoughtful and generous, the room was comfortable and large. Each morning we were provided more than enough breakfast including bread, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets. There are also oranges for juicing, coffee and tea facilities, and a washing machine. The check-in process was very easy. We spent hours sitting at the front of our room with a port, coffee or freshly squeezed orange juice just watching the world go by with a delightful view of the river and the town. The location is in town but towards the top of the hill. Being fairly fit and active we walked from the river to our room many times (including with our suitcases). This certainly gets the heart rate going and is steep with lots of steps, but is absolutely manageable on foot if you don't mind some exertion. Otherwise consider if you will be needing taxis to get to this gorgeous spot. Overall delightful and thankyou to Antonio josé and Cristina for hosting us.

Casa dos Correios se encuentra a 14 km de Natur Waterpark y ofrece terraza, además de alojamiento con patio y wifi gratis. It was located in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants. It is a new property with four spacious rooms with 12 foot ceilings. It was once part of the post office building and the owner Paulo has taken a great measure of detail in adding a postal theme to the property. If you admire history and culture you will want to meet Paulo for a wonderful orientation. Although breakfast isn’t included there is a spacious area with utensils / dishes and coffee and tea for you to prepare on your own. There is a supermarket just a four minute walk away. As with locations in many old town areas parking is not included however there was ample paid on street parking within a one minute walk.

Quintal do Grémio está en Torre de Moncorvo, a 33 km de Termas de Longroiva y a 48 km de Puente medieval de Mirandela. Charming, small, family-run accommodation in the center of the old town of Torre de Moncorvo. Very well-kept and clean rooms with tasteful furnishings and attention to detail. The small garden with pool is beautifully landscaped and also very well maintained. Suzanna and Andres are very friendly and warm hosts. The breakfast deserves five stars. One evening, they cooked for us because there were no recommended restaurants open in the area. It was the best dinner of our week-long trip. The wine selection is also remarkable.

Quinta Vale de Lobos está en Folgosa y dispone de wifi gratis, piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín y terraza. Everything was great! The rooms very comfortable, the food very tasty, the location impressive and the service extraordinary!! We loved it!

Quinta da Costinha está a 23 km de Natur Waterpark y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, piscina de temporada al aire libre, jardín y salón de uso común. Bien ubicado, zona tranquila. La habitacion amplia y comoda. Desayuno correcto. La zona de la piscina muy agradable

DOURO B&B Avenida está en Resende, a 30 km de Museo do Douro y a 31 km de Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, salón de uso común y... Very kind and helpful owner. Good breakfast with some home made typical sweets.

Great location, easily walkable to most local attractions. Contemporary in design, lovely decor. Met promptly as we were not able to receive check in messages. This was no fault of the owner. Lovely breakfast lots of choice. Highly recommend.

Quinta do Fojo Valonguinho, Barrô tiene vistas al jardín, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Está en Barrô, a 15 km de Museo do Douro. Amazing view! Beatiful house had everything you could need. Well equipped kitchen. Amazing surroundings with vineyards and fruit trees. Friendly owners. Higly recommended.
