Forever Kohmook Bungalows has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Koh Mook, 400 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach. This guest house provides a terrace as well as a bar. Great location near shops, restaurants and Tuk Tuks for Charlie Beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. If you want a western breakfast you can't beat their sourdough toast and delicious homemade yoghurt. Their homemade coconut ice cream served with mango and peanuts is sheer bliss. They also have a shop with a much more interesting selection of clothing than anywhere else on the island. I'd definitely go back.

600 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Mook Raya Resort is a recently renovated property situated in Koh Mook and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Great stay in an almost brand new resort, run by a very pleasant couple that speaks perfect English & German. Clean and comfy rooms and no trash lying around in the resort. Organised a tour and a transfer very efficiently. Situated at the end of the town and very close to the Money House Restaurant, which can be highly recommended (the resort offers a light breakfast - the yoghurt with an ice coffee was our preferred choice). It takes a walk or a short motorcycle taxi ride to get to a good beach from the resort. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in Thailand, and they are still just setting up, so we assume it will only become better.

Located in Trang and only 41 km from Trang Railway Station, Villa Pateh provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

Room was spotless and very comfortable! The owners are super helpful and kind and prepare amazing thai-style breakfast! I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again when coming back to Koh Libong!

Featuring garden views, Baan Namthip Homestay Trang บ้านน้าทิพย์ โฮมสเตย์ตรัง offers accommodation with balcony, around 26 km from Trang Railway Station. If you want to experience local culture, this is the place to go. San is a great host, he knows so much about what to do and see in the area, you can ask him anything. He always does his best to help you. He also took us to the local elementary school so that we could interact with the kids, for them to practice their English. Very nice experience. He also did laundry for us for a low price and cooked us some home made dinner. Everything was perfect, I would gladly come back.
