The rooms - or small apartments let's say - are very beautifully designed with everything you need. In the spacey garden, there is a big bbq and a dining table where you can eat/drink by the turquoise pool. As compliments, we received a special wine bottle from the local winery and fresh fruits every day. But more than just being a host, Sarah was also a wonderful local-guide and gave us many suggestions about beaches, restaurants, etc. Not to forget, all at a fairly affordable price. I sincerely wish Sarah the best, you don't come across this kind of place often.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penas Blancas. The property was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and great free WiFi. Although the owners live next door we didn't see them and the property felt very private. We really enjoyed spending time relaxing round the pool in an afternoon following our sightseeing adventures in a morning and both agreed that we would love to stay here again in future. One point to note is that you really do need to hire a car in order to make the most of what Lanzarote has to offer.

Away from the main tourist locations but well placed in the elevated residence area of Macher, to travel to all areas of island. The Villa was an excellent size for three of us occupying only two of the three bedrooms, but even at capacity it would not seem overcrowded. In January the pool was warm and inviting. The maid cleaning/towel changes were regular during the week. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering, cooker, microwave, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer. There was also a washing machine available. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The host was very considerate, we would not hesitate in using the accommodation again.
