The location was fabulous. We were within the majestic scenery. We spent a lot of the time sitting on the terrace looking either down the gorge or up to the rocky ridges. It came with a parking space, which is a premium in Masca. The parking space was also secure and spacious. We also enjoyed the pool after a hot day's walk. Pedro was also very friendly and helpful.

The cottage was spacious, great location where I spent 2 nights surrounded by the mountains and had the chance to enjoy Masca Village to its fullest. Traditional character with a few modern elements (big TV+ extra tv in bedroom, spotlights). Comfortable sofa and bed. Welcome bottle of water and red wine. A lot of utensils, pots and pans, washing machine, basically everything you need for spending time indoors. Prompt support from my hosts when I was a bit lost. Easy self check-in. The bus stop is just a few meters away, so easy access (I made a mistake and got off the bus on the next stop, coming from Santiago del Teide). I stayed in Tenerife for 4 weeks and that was the best place I visited and stayed in the island.

The location is really beautiful. We had breakfast and dinner most days on the outside table with vast views of the sun in the gorge and the winding road down to Masca. It's very peaceful and you would have no idea there are tourists visiting the village everyday just down the road. There's a little path you can take from the house down to the centre of the village rather than taking the road. We were so glad we decided to stay here with so much space, rather than in a big hotel. The house had everything we needed - we cooked and also had a BBQ. Everything worked well - showers, kitchen etc. There's a new samsung tv, hairdryer, washing machine, iron, oven, microwave etc. There was also an electric heater as we were there in February when it's cool at night. It's a cosy split-level house in the village, but feels very spacious inside and out. The location is good for accessing the North, and not too far from the airport. We drove to La Laguna and on to Santa Cruz de Tenerife for Carneval (stayed there overnight at a cheap hotel to go walking in Anaga the next day) and then drove back, which was all easy enough. Masca is a nice village, and you see people visiting to enjoy the views, so it's nice to know you're living there. El Guanche is a good restaurant in the village with great views. There's a few parking spots on the top of the road by the house, and then a long bay of parking about 100m further down the hill. The house comes with a free parking sign to put in your car window. We really loved everything and would definitely stay again or bring others here. Thanks Claudia!

We had a truly amazing stay at Casatarucho. As other reviews mention, the views and location are breathtaking and it's one of the most unique places I've ever stayed in. It's so peaceful and it's a fantastic location for stargazing with the lack of light pollution. The facilities at the house are great: you have everything you need for cooking, great beds, bathroom etc. The welcome from the host was super friendly and communication throughout the stay was perfect - they were able to answer any questions and solve any problems super quickly. Driving up to the property is not for the faint hearted: it's a mountainous place so the roads are narrow and windy, especially leading up to the house itself, but it is 100% worth it.

La casa genial, con todo lo necesario para que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda y placentera. Limpia, con detalles, decoración muy cuidada. De acceso fácil y con aparcamiento privado. Situada en un pueblo con muchas posibilidades: senderismo, costa y playas, pueblos con encanto, ... Merece mucho la pena. Ideal para desconectar y retomar esos placeres que tu día a día no te permiten: leer mientras tomas un café al sol en cualquiera de sus bancos, tumbonas; tomar el sol y mirar el cielo con mi perro, ... En fin, muy recomendable.

Lugar hermoso! la vivienda se encuentra dentro de un grande patio muy característico, cuidadosamente mantenido, con una gran terraza donde se puede comer, una cocina muy bonita, lavadero, sala relax y un hermoso jardín. Todo con excelente gusto y con todas las comodidades. La habitación es linda y el baño es enorme, la calefacción rápidamente calentò todo el espacio. Todas las comodidades, Tv con Netflix incluida. El check in se realiza de forma independiente y es muy fácil, nos dieron información muy clara. El anfitrion es muy disponible. El alojamiento está en una excelente ubicación, en el centro de Santiago del Teide, hay mucho que hacer en la zona. Definitivamente volveremos!
