A beautiful setting, and a very comfortable place to stay.

Jennifer & Phil were very friendly, with suggestions on places to visit and eat. We dealt mostly with Phil up until the last morning, when Jennifer talked with us for quite a while about places to visit. The room and facility was very clean, the bathroom was large and spotless with great water pressure. The breakfast was delicious, especially the toast, although more on breakfast in the other section. Overall very positive, with a few minor quibbles.

Apartment was bigger than expected and had a beautiful view. We were traveling across England from the USA for a wedding and found this gem only 30 minutes from Alton Towers. We loved seeing all the horses and other animals and giving our kids a taste of the country life. We will definitely be back!

Lovely setting. Friendly, helpful hosts. Lovely dogs and horses all around. Comfy double bed and wonderfully quiet at night. Charger for electric car. Dog friendly. For just 2 people it is good (if you don't mind a shower in the middle of your kitchen area).

Very clean, great amenities, we loved the decor, the extras which were left were so thoughtful, comfortable bed and bedding, great shower, lots of storage, nice glasses! Lovely hosts and very peaceful location.

The Manger was especially helpful and very efficient seeing us to our accommodation. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The front of House restaurant Manager was super busy and efficiently dispatched patrons to their tables, he was exceptionally kind and fitted us in; we hadn't known to book in advance. The food was good value, great choices and variety. Service from everyone; all the young woman waiters as well was "beyond". Also, I liked the character of the place - lounge and building and bar. Bonus - fun Llamas to watch being fed.
