The house was beautiful, the location is gorgeous, the hosts are terrific. The breakfast they provided was varied and delicious. It is unlikely I will ever be in this part of the world again, but if I am, I will definitely stay here. Rent a car. Public transportation options are limited.

We loved everything about this beautiful accommodation and the host Mara, it was luxury with some much care given to its guests, the hospitality was outstanding, the food even more so, the breakfast was fit for a King and Queen and we were made to feel like one. There was parking for the car, the town was beautiful friendly with historical walks close by, we dined in a local restaurant and had an amazing meal and exceptional bottle of wine ( restaurant was called Kamastra)

Civita is not only jaw-droppingly picturesque – it's in the Pollino National Park at the Gole del Raganello –  but it's also one of the historic Albanian communities of Southern Italy.  Our hostess explained that Ka' Suporti means the House of the Arch in the local Albanian spoken in the town. Great room with an amazing view although the way from the mountain perch of Civita down to the Gulf of Taranto. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. But the best thing was our host Antonella, Beppe and Antonella's stonemason father. It was a pleasure to meet them. Even the neighbors were friendly.
