Beautiful country house, Claudia, the owner, helpful and gracious, we loved our cozy double room, Nora the goose, her duckling friends and Fritz the dog, breakfast was great, thank you to everyone at Casa do Moinho for a wonderful stay!

The house is a concentrate of beauty. Furnished with incredible taste. The kindness of Bruno and his collaborators is unique, as much as the colors that fill your eyes. Excellent breakfast that you can enjoy on the terrace. Large bright room and all the necessary comfort. The location is good, a few kilometers from incredible ocean beaches, near Aveiro, a very pretty town and Ovar also pleasantly surprised us: many restaurants where you eat very well. Easy for visiting the city of Porto as well.

We are delighted with our stay at Jose's home and hope we can come back in the future. Our children (1 and 6) also enjoyed it a lot. I would say it's all about the smalls details and the attention José dedicated us. Every morning a complete and delicious breakfast that gave us strength for the rest of the day. The house is cosy, comfortable and unique. Muito obrigada José e até breve.

Sérgio was an outstanding host! He was so accommodating and helpful. He responded quickly to emails. He was extremely kind. The location of the apartments was perfect. It was in the center of the city but not too loud. Right outside the apartments was a courtyard attached to a great little cafe and a restaurant. The best place to stay if you stay in Ovar!

Highly appreciate the option to rent bicycles for free. Amenities are very close to the apartment (bars, restaurants, grocery shop etc.) and last but not least great beds.

We loved the design made by the owner himself who’s an architect. The price included a very good breakfast and the location is perfect in this charming small town. There’s a self service laundry nearby which is a big plus.
