Cheap hotels in Schelderode

A quiet, comfortable place, I would say very quiet and romantic, near the river, above a Michelin-star restaurant

The room was quiet. Great location. Delicious breakfast. Exquisite dinner. We really enjoyed it

The charming Ukrainian woman at the reception made a very nice first impression by giving us a nice presentation of the hotel and what to visit and to do around in the city. Very nice rooms, great breakfast and good hospitality in general.

I really liked everything in regards to our stay. Excellent customer service. All logic questions you may have in regards to your stay at the accommodation are covered in one way or another. You can tell the service has been thought through well. You are also provided with helpful information in regards to visiting Gent itself, which was much appreciated. We had a family studio and it was nice, spacious and very clean. Very comfortable beds even though they are a bit small. The latter can be said of the hotel in general. Cleaning staff was also really nice. Leaving our car behind pre check-in would have been no issue, but as it turned out we were able to check-in well before the designated check-in time too, which was a pleasant surprise. Of course it has to be said that this was not in a busy season, but still. Parking is in a safe closed off area. The breakfast was included and is really good. Being from mainland Europe, continental is just fine for us and the selection and set up were nice. The proximity to the centre of Gent is perfect in my opinion. A nice 10 to 15 minutes leisurly walk is all it takes through a nice neigbourhood. Very little noise from the streets at night also. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect cosy, warm and stylish studio apartment. A stove and garden views make it feel like a (better than) home from home, and elevate the experience over similar accommodation. Super quiet. A large, drive-in garage was a great-to-have and made managing outdoor kit easy. Bart and Nathalie make you feel at home and couldn't be more warm and helpful. A general food store just 350m away, and a couple of great restaurants in the neighbourhood made logistics enjoyable. 20min drive to Oudenaarde. All up - you don't have to ride Flanders, but if you do, this is the prefect base. ;)

It was really comfortable and there's a store right beside the apartment.

The room was very tidy and the host was super friendly. Lend us a hairdryer and gave us some recommendations of activities in the city. Location is far but not really since tram is available very close. Good if you come by car. Free parking around.

The place is located in a quiet and charming neighborhood. The host is exceptionally kind and welcoming. The room is newly built—modern, well-appointed, and tastefully decorated. The kitchen, shared between two rooms, is fully equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. Although the room faces the road, it is perfectly soundproof, and no noise can be heard inside.

The room is nice in a quiet location

The owner, Denny was very accommodating. The place was very welcoming, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. There was parking. The place was quiet and restful. We loved our stay here.

The hotel is wonderful — new, clean, and perfect rooms, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Excellent and attentive staff, and a delicious breakfast.

This property is new and the rooms were clean and we liked the kitchenette so much.

Very nice property, hostess very attentive, sweet and traditional features inside the property, clean with a family/home feeling

Everything, how warm, clean and tea, coffee and milk provided. Everything was so comfortable. It was exceptional

Due to many problems we failed to get to Aikje but really appreciated the way the kept the gates open well after closing time. Thank you for your efforts to help us. Sorry we could not get to you.

Location was excellent. Bikes available which were the best way of getting around. Apartment was spacious. Great kitchen.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host was nice and always willing to help with room services.

The hotel is a charming building with a small garden. It is relatively close to the center of Ghent. It has been very accessible with a car since it has parking and easy to reach the highway since we also toured Brussels and Bruges. The room was very spacious, with a separate kitchen, a big bathroom, and the main area divided into two sections; one with the double bed and the other with 2 single beds for our daughters. The breakfast is rich enough for all of us to find what we like. The stuff were very friendly and took care to every need we had. We also used the laundry services, which was very fast and quite cheap. And last but not least, we enjoyed the pool and sauna which was a great way to relaxin the evening. To sum up, it felt like home away from home. We would definitely love to come back again.

Clean space ! Very confortable, and the owner is a wonderful person.

stayed here for a few weeks brilliant host immaculate property comfortable in a really nice location
