The host, absolutely amazing personality: kind, helpful, nice. The room, although small it provided absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. The little chocolates, complimentary drinks in the fridge and the tea set were the nicest touches you could expect. The cleanliness: I am a stickler for spotless cleanliness. I have never ever stayed in a hotel where, when wipping dry the floor with a white paper napkin after a few drops of water splashed around, the paper napkin to emerge just as white as when you pulled it out of the package. It is a testament of the outstanding cleaning job being carried out in this hotel. Also, the room is made every day which is not usual for this type of small, family run hotels. Kudos Lua Boutique hotel! The breakfast is also very nice with something new and enticing every morning. The location I found to be better than on the other side of the island (Los Llanillos). The forest with its many trekking routes is only 2km away. The southermost point (La Restinga) is only 16km down the road. Easy access to the westermost point (La Orchilla), to a big village (La Frontera) and to the other side in Villaverde (port, airport). One of the best pizzerias i tried in Spain is just accross the road. You cant go wrong with this one. Highly reccommended!

We stayed at La Juyona for 3 nights. We were really impressed with the accommodation, it certainly surpassed our expectations. The house is decorated to a high standard and has everything you need. We especially liked the ensuite to the master bedroom, the two outdoor seating areas and the two balconies. I found Monica (the host) to be very helpful with any enquiries and help needed. We loved the fresh bread delivered to us on the first day. What a lovely touch! The local area is fabulous for walks and there are plenty of bars and cafes to visit. We ate at El Sol de España and El Restaurante Tropical. We would recommend both of these. Lastly, the views from the house of the mountains and sea are spectacular. We will definitely recommend La Juyona to our friends and family. Thank you Monica.

Super stay! Great location with it's own parking spot. A few metres to a restaurant that does a good breakfast. Just 2 minutes walk into the town centre. Nice and clean.

Nicely equipped apt in the back of the beautiful courtyard. Probably the best location for staying in the el golfo region (we moved here from a different place that was a bit more 'out of town'.) El hierro is pretty calm, so was nice to stay where you can walk to coffee etc in local establishments, parking non issue, traffic noise non issue (back house, and this is el hierro after all), quick drive to 3 different charco for swimming etc. Would stay here again!

Very comfortable, quiet and with a beautiful terrace to relax with a beautiful view.

The property was very centrally located to the little town, but also hiking and water activities. In addition, although the Internet in the room did not work, well, the Internet down in the shared common room was 325 Mbps, therefore, if you are a digital nomad or remote working, you can get good Internet as long as you go down to the common room. Finally, the biggest asset of this hotel is the employee Burhy! He gave us so many phenomenal recommendations which made our trip so much better. We also were able to come to him and ask him questions about the local area for which he provided us with lots of great information. Finally, I accidentally left my jacket and he shipped it to the next island that we were going to. El sitio itself was nice, but Burhy made it that much sweeter and it felt like home :)

Super nice and cosy place! Facilities were great, some nice outdoor places to relax and close to all the Chaco's! Highly recommend!

Great location and atmosphere on the property. Clean house and good beds. Friendly staff. You need a car to get there, lots of free parking space in front of the property.

The place is very pretty, with stunning view and the staff very welcoming and helpful !
