Villa Barbara was the place we stayed where we felt more at home in all of our travels. We stayed for almost one month and the owners are the most friendly people ever - their hospitality is way above average! Villa Barbara is quiet, friendly, gorgeous, and the lake is only a few steps away. The closest town with supermarkets and restaurants is only 8 minutes away by car. I would recommend this place 100% and really hope I can go back.

Great location and host, felt like family. Had a lot of fun at the lake and in the accommodation. Very clean room and great bed. The breakfast was great with homemade products, very fresh and tasty, it was a lot. You won’t leave the table hungry. He even made us dinner without us asking, great food with products from his garden and again a lot. Ask for his magic tricks and his homemade drinks. He has a few kayaks and pedalo that are available to use. Would 100% recommend!

Peaceful location with stunning views of the lake and surrounding area from most rooms in the house. Easy access to road network, local stores and not too far from tourist attractions such as the National Park.

A cosy home surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. The owners also surprised us with complimentary delicious food and liquor from their own produce. Everything was amazing.

Todo perfecto. Muy buen precio, pasamos solo una noche . La estancia fue muy cómoda, la habitación y el baño limpios. Pensábamos que la habitación tenia baño privado, pero no, era compartido. Aun y así fue todo muy bien.

Our hosts were wonderful. Even though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Croatian, we did just fine with google translate. They offered us homemade walnut liqueur, which was delicious and eggs from their chickens. We had a few laughable moments with the translator, but that only added to the memories. Sheep, chickens, cats, dog, and lovely views--we felt like we were at home. It was very clean and had a nice private balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. We liked this couple very much. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you
