We were so excited to stay at Casa Cucuc and seeing it in person was even better than imagined. The apt was on the 3rd floor right in the middle of the little mediaeval village of Borgo Preplans, just a few minutes by car from Meduno. It was truly a delightful stay for anyone who appreciates historic buildings that have been lovingly restored by hand. It was clean and bright and decorated beautifully with handcrafted restored materials. It was very spacious for 4 people with the 2 bedrooms and had a good sized kitchen/dining area and bathroom. The porch was a wonderful place to hang out and just dream. Meeting Elio and getting to hear the history of the building was very special, not to mention the local prosecco he gave us to enjoy our last night there. We even got to see a resident neighbor come back from foraging for mushrooms and chestnuts. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer.

It was perfect for our 11 night stay. Very comfortable and cozy. It had everything you needed to basically live very comfortably for your stay. The hosts were wonderful and always available if needed. We loved (and miss) their 2 dogs and the bunny that lives on the property too! Can’t wait to stay here again on our next trip!
