We liked everything more than we expected. The owners are truly nice and Cristina showed us the place where we were sleeping with lots of clarity and pleasure, as it was indeed a flat completely independent to the rest of this traditional Italian countryside house, totally equiped with a kitchen, its usual electrical appliances and the bathroom was also very spacious and clean, fortunately with a bidé, as Italians and Portuguese are used to, besides, obviously, a shower-cabin, WC and lavatory with a very agreable scent soap-dispenser. Concerning the rooms, these were also huge and the beds very comfortable, perfect for a very peaceful and restful night. Furthermore, the region where the house is, it's located in a very calm area, with lots of green around, as well as a vineyard and some animals like ponies, horses, poultry, dogs and cats, all part of the Family, if we can say like this. Finally, the breakfast we had, was prepared with lots of love and attention, and it contained a home-baked cake and biscuits, bread, butter, home-brewed coffee in a typical Italian percolator and delicious home-made juice, which in the end was kindly offered and considered within the total bill. In conclusion, we felt that we had traveled back in time, as the house is composed by beautiful and ancient furniture and decorated with family items or painted portraits, as well as photos.
