Appartement has a beautiful view, it's perfectly quiet, clean, and Iryna is the most welcoming host I've ever met! My personal favourite was comfortable mattress which is quite rare on booking, I slept like a baby :)

Nestled amongst olive groves in the hills of Acquedolci is the charming compound of Relais Cartolari. When you step in to the apartment you feel like you’re stepping back in time. The apartments have been decorated and furnished with detail to accentuate the Sicilian countryside heritage of the building. The apartment has everything you need to cook a meal and then eat on the terrace. The terraces and swimming pool have stunning and breathtaking views of the sea and Aeolian islands. The swimming pool was refreshing to swim in whilst admiring the views and the peaceful tranquility of the property. The wonderful host Iryna takes care of her guests and property with the utmost care, kindness and thought. Nearly every day Iryna’s mother brought us olives, cakes, biscuits or cannoli - fantastic! They also make their own olive oil which is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Iryna can recommend the best places to eat or for certain foods (arancini, pastries or pizza and seafood etc) and goes above and beyond to look after her guests and help make their stay memorable. I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot but also in Sicily and this is one of the most spectacular places I’ve stayed at. I recommend this property without a doubt!

The property was quiet and had a good view of the ocean. Our room had a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom.

The appartment is amazing. It is well equipped and the view from the balcony is just spectacular. There is a beach nearby (10 minutes walk), but better beaches in Tusa and Cefalu are accessible by train. Massimo is an excellent host. I had a problem with double payment and he solved the issue with booking.com immediately so I got a refund in two days. Greatly recommend this appartment!

The place is easy to find with free parking directly outside. Very friendly and helpful owner. Comfortable clean room with small balcony and a ceiling fan as well as air conditioning. We really liked having a voucher and going to a bar for breakfast as the pastries were fresh and the coffee was amazing. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Location was good, had free safe parking for our bikes. I explained to the owner that I am a coeliac and cannot eat gluten for breakfast. The owner did go buy some gluten free muffins for me, which I appreciated.

Excellent cleanliness, excellent design, plenty of free space, great beds, easy to find parking spot, grocery store is close, easy check-in/check-out, full-equipped kitchen, bathtub (!), kind host
