The mountain view from the terrasse of our small house was just beautiful and breathtakng! Green mountains, blue sky, a glimpse of the sea on the horizon, the sound of birds and frogs at night, the wind in the trees outside, cool nights. We loved it! The cosy house has everything you need and more for a peaceful, refreshingly airy and enjoyable holiday and you're even welcomed with a little basket, filled with everything for your next mornings french breakfast. Very kind and smiling hosts! The keys were in the door. It's a bit of a steep drive from the main road, but it's all worth it several times. We left with a heavy heart after 4 nights and I'm still so sad, that we couldn't come back for 4 more nights the week after, as originally planned ... But we'll be back another time!

Wow ! What a place ...Lost in paradise! Everything was perfect the setting was amazing the apartment was clean spacious n comfy and Scarlett out host so welcoming n friendly. I highly recommend this exceptional tropical forest experience.

Le Colibri Vert was by far the best accommodation that we experienced in Martinique, and it was a delightful exception to the average vacation rentals closer to the beach areas. The property is as beautiful as show in the pictures (no Photoshop), the two large terraces are great and the location (constant breeze in a valley of the island interior) provides a nice temperature even without aircon. The hosts were great and friendly and gave a nice personal touch to our stay by welcoming us personally and providing home-made welcome amenities (hot chocolate, oven-fresh bread, fruits etc.) to our kids and us. The beach (Plage du Carbet, which is excellent) is 10 minutes by car and we found that it was absolutely no hassle to reach the sea - again, a much better choice than the average vacation homes on the island, especially those managed by property management companies.
