Cheap hotels in Ko Libong Island

We had an utterly wonderful time with Lulu and her family. They were extremely warm and we made a meaningful connection with them over our 6 day stay. It was really fun being around them and we’ll never forget this cute family and homestay run with love and diligence. We stayed in the house with the round window, and loved waking up every morning and meditating / doing qigong by the low tide water watching the sunrise. The room was very clean and the toilet and shower was kind of outdoor style but still private and contained within our little house. The property is at the northern tip of Ko Libong, and only has a few houses on the edge of sparkling water - the perfect place to unwind, read, craft, paint, meditate, just be. The homestay now has a restaurant which serves delicious food cooked by Lulu’s mum. Highly recommend the seafood tom kha, shrimp with fresh tamarind sauce made from their fruit, and omelette with crab meat. As we’re pescetarian they customised breakfast for us. Fresh juices were also served - the magic green sour mango juice fresh from their tree was amazing. Lulu was incredibly helpful; she picked us up from the pier when we arrived, dropped us off when we left, and was always so attentive. We communicated via Google translate with no problem. We rented their scooters daily at 300baht each. It turned out Lulu’s mum is a doctor of Thai massage and gave us great massages! It was healing being at this homestay. We miss the family already and can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much!

I stayed here 2 nights. My private room was inexpensive, had A/C and the room and bed were big and comfortable. The woman (Mama) who runs the place is very generous, thoughtful and kind. She only speaks Thai and I only speak English but we had no problems communicating. Her son also came by (he speaks both languages); They are a delightful family..quiet, friendly, respectful. This homestay location is out of the way, so you need to rent motorbike or taxi to get around (though I chose to walk).

Everything was incredible! The breakfast is exceptional and the service is amazing. We rented a scooter and it was basically new, love Scoopy.

Beautiful location on the water, views from bed. Central location on the island. Breakfast included and a sweet kitten roaming around. I believe I got food poisoning on the island my first night and when the host family found out they went above and beyond to take care of me. Some of the sweetest, most caring people I’ve ever met.

excellent location of the seaview bungalows just several meters from the sea. gardeners clean the area everyday. however it would be more nice if green grass might be maintained instead of yellow one mixed with sand.

This is a 10 5stars if you want a remote , rustic Experience , waves lapping by your bungalow this is your place, if you are one of those stuck up people, this is not not a 5star resort, but a relaxing Chill place to unwind and really enjoy your holidays or travel
