I was solo traveling and wanted to do the hike from Theth to Valbone, he helped me set up my transportation and gave me advice on how long to stay in each location, what to pack and even stored my luggage for me while I went. They packed an amazing breakfast for me to take on my 7am car ride. Can’t thank them enough!

Everyone is very friendly. The room is neat and cozy. There was a warm radiator in the bathroom, which is very useful if you want to dry your clothes. We were there in November, so in the evening the heating was turned on in the room, which was very nice. We odered dinner and it was amazing. It was the best and most delicious food we had in Albania. The views from the room balcony are amazing.

It felt like sleeping on clouds! Location is great, a lot of restaurants, cafés and bars close by. Even though it was on the main pedestrian street it was very quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Told us where to leave our car, prepared a breakfast package as we had to leave very early and we could leave our luggage there for several days while we went to Valbona and Theth for hiking.

Un lugar hermoso en medio de la naturaleza donde ver las estrellas. Esta a tan solo 10km del Puerto de Koman, lugar de las salidas en barco, en un entorno de 10. Las cabañas nos han encantado: son muy bonitas y lo tienen todo (mosqueteras,wi fi, etc.. hasta tienen tv). Además las camas son super cómodas. La familia que lo gestiona es un encanto de familia, súper amables y atentos a todo para que estés a gusto. El desayuno, increible! Muy bueno todo y en cantidad. Sin duda nos alegramos mucho haber elegido el Wooden Villas Garden para nuestra estancia en Koman y ser de los primeros en conocerlo (acaban de abrir este año).

Breeze of the Drin Guesthouse Camping está situado en Vau i Dejës, tiene vista al jardín, WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house
