Boasting a year-round outdoor pool, a sauna and a hot tub, Resort Parc Paradiso is set in Belém, 600 metres from Basilica-Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazareth and 3.2 km from Feliz Lusitania. Everything in the property is excellent! Unfortunately my stay was too short to enjoy everything.

The staff are very nice and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The place is very clean and the swimming pool is delightful. They work very hard to maintain a nice place and are very hospitable.

Casa da Mata Marajó has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Salvaterra. Guests can relax in the garden at the property. I had a wonderful four days in Salvaterra. Marcia is a great host and goes out of her way to take care of your every needs. I really enjoyed the tours with her to learn more about the Amazonian way of life, flora and fauna. Swimming in the mangroves was paradise. The accommodation is very relaxed and has all that you need including perfectly working AC (powered by solar PV). Breakfast is really nice with a different cake and selection of fruits every morning. And do not miss to have dinner there. The moqueca is fabulous :-)

Pousada Reloday features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Salvaterra. John is a wonderful host, he facilitated our transfers, helped organize the buffalo tour and was a delight to talk to. Joanes beach is very beautiful and we saw an amazing moon rise there. The pousada is super comfortable, from the bed, to shower, reliable internet service and the wonderful pool. Breakfast was hearty with eggs, fruit juice, coffee, fruits, sandwiches and John’s yummy banana bread. I had a serious health issue during our stay and had to seek emergency care. John drove us to the ER and waited until I was released, which took half a day and took us back to the pousada. We absolutely loved this stay and highly recommend. John is a super host!

Set in Soure and within 2.3 km of Garrote Beach, Morada da Ilha Pousada features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The inn has family rooms. It was great for a very low price. The room was super big and renovated, the beds were really comfy, the breakfast tasty and the staff really helpful. I would happily go back!

Located within less than 1 km of Alter do Chao Beach and 36 km of Santarem's Harbor, Pousada Tauari provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alter do Chao. Everything about our stay at Pousada Tauari exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable with excellent and quiet air conditioning which is very important in the Amazon. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety and interesting things to eat. The location was great, just a few blocks from the main square. Most importantly, the hosts (Ricardo and Katcha) are wonderful people who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. We owe them our gratitude and thanks for a great experience.
