It was clean, modern, and very quiet. I was a late check-in, and reception was easy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. While it is about 20 minutes outside Matane, it is worth the distance. I have stayed at multiple spots in town while traveling, and most are outdated and loud road noise. Motel M is in a small town and exceptionally quiet with modern appeal.

A kitchen or kitchenette is featured in each unit at this Carleton-Sur-Mer motel. A bar is located on site. Free WiFi is included. Miguasha National Park is 20 km away. Our King room had a small but well equipped kitchette, 2 chairs, good variety of English and French TV channels, a comfy bed and a nice shower! The reception staff was super helpful and there was a small bar with nice windows. We liked the handy access of parking at our room door. The waterfront boardwalk is a quick walk across the road.
