Maria, the host, shows care and hospitality in all the little touches including chocolates on the pillows and a welcome bottle of wine. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, the historic Hotel Porto Sofie Gottlieben is located in a 17th century building on the river bank, right across a nature reserve. This hotel was beyond all expectations! Beautiful room, wonderful staff, excellent location. There is a special calmness on the river there. We wish we could have stayed longer! The food was fabulous.
