We had a very pleasant stay at the Hongcun Nanhu Lake view hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They greeted us with refreshments on our arrival. They went out of their way to help us with our travel needs. For instance, they arranged a ride share for us so that we can arrive at the Yellow Mountain base the next morning before the first bus gets there to beat the crowd.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Our host was simply wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip to Huangshan memorable. She cooked us delicious and hearty breakfasts every morning, provided us with rides to the mountain entrance, and even drove us to local restaurants for dinner. Her recommendations for the best local places to eat and buy authentic Huangshan tea were invaluable. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had a very comfortable, large bed and a stunning panoramic view of the mountains from our window. A real highlight was the private jacuzzi in the room – perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The guesthouse also has a lovely, friendly cat that was a delight to come home to. The location is peaceful and about a 20-minute walk from the city center, where you can find numerous restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place 10/10 without any hesitation. The only very minor downside was that the room was a little chilly at times, but it was a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless experience. We can't wait to return!

Nos llevó en su coche a un restaurante que espedificamnte tiene comida no picante. Nos aconsejó tanto los recorridos en función de nuestras opciones físicas. Nos aconsejó los horarios para evitar colas en el parque. Nos proporcionó transfer para visitar el pueblo de Hongcun, patrimonio de la humanidad. Además, se despidió con un regalo para cada persona de nuestro grupo. Las habitaciones podrían ser de un hotel de una cadena hotelera noruega, comodísimas y chulas. Además, está ubicado en la mejor posición para coger los buses del parque.

The property and service were excellent. We were treated very kindly by staff. The owner gave us a map of the park that he created that perfected our visit to the mountains. Other tourists were taking pictures of the map because it was superior to theirs. He had also sat down with us to clearly explain possible routes. Every evening, we were able to sit in the cozy living room with tea, fruit, and kitties. What more could one ask for? Our room was stunning. We were also able to wash and dry clothes which was a huge benefit. The daily breakfast was home cooked, fresh, and delicious. We actually extended our stay because the hotel was that good.
