The hotel offers 3 restaurants and free WiFi in all areas. Henderson Centre with lots of shopping and dining options is nearby. My staying was exceptional. I am glad that I stayed here. I want to say personal thanks to all stuff people in this great hotel, but especially Ekaterina. Caroline Lin and Leo Zhang also helped me in my requests.

Excellent hotel. The hostess Sophie treated us like family, she took us from the airport to the hotel, to the Grand Wall of China, she recommended places to visit, hep us in the airport etc, etc. She went the extra mile ordering products online for us, she took us to find exactly what we were looking for and she did all of this with the joy and friendliness that characterizes her and with the respect and seriousness that corresponds to a hostess. I feel like I have made a friend in China. Thank you Sophie for existing in our lives on this trip getting to know Beijing you made everything easy for us!

The property is around 500 metres from Yonghegong Temple, 3.9 km from Shichahai Area and 4.4 km from Wangfujing Street. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. From start to finish we absolutely loved our stay at the Happy Dragon Courtyard. The hotel is situated in a traditional Hutong setting and is styled to match. The staff are all so welcoming, and all go out of their way to assist with all your needs. We did the dumpling making course followed by the traditional Chinese meal with local wines and beers and it was superb. The master chef was excellent at showing us step by step and complimented us with how well we did. The food he prepared alongside our dumplings was superb. We will definitely be back to this hotel when we return to China. The room is decorated in a beautiful style and the courtyard in between made me think of Yu Garden in Shanghai. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the addition of drinks provided in the room was great. We only had breakfast twice during our stay due to having activities booked early on the other days but when we did have it, it was delicious. The staff tended to all of our needs and even provided us with a breakfast package to take with us on our day of departure at 0530. The hotel is also situated in close proximity to the Lama Temple and line 2/5 on the Metro making it easy to get to all the main attractions.
