It’s the most magical place. A serene escape from city life, and on an adventurous trek to the amazon is the most relaxing place to stay. We booked our tours through Hotel Villiana upon arrival, and had been recommended the perfect tours. The food prepared here is some of the best food we’ve had out of all our travels! Esteban and Vanessa were so accommodating and made this the most special place on our travel throughout colombia. This place will forever stay with us, and without a doubt we will be back. We also got engaged!

From the photos we knew already that the place would be lovely, but we didn't expect that the working staff would be as lovely. Jonathan's vision for creating a place where travelers will be feeling like home, where they will be able to really exchange between them, and also his vision of getting people to know the indigenous culture, was what made this experience way better than we would have ever imagined. Situé à Leticia, l’établissement Hotel Gavas Amazonas possède des hébergements dotés de la climatisation. Very convenient hotel next to airport. Very nice people. Our flight was delayed so we were so glad they had given us such a hearty delicious breakfast before we left. The proprietor has a Tuk Tuk so he can take you part way with a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the airport. Also we got a ride the evening before departure to the city center to have dinner. Another convenience was the laundry service with the clothes returned the same day.

L’établissement Cabañas Dechi se trouve à Puerto Nariño. Offrant une vue sur le lac, il propose une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un jardin avec une terrasse. Charlie, Nazdi and their family and friends who work there are all such lovely people. Charlie did everything to help and give advice and there was no pressure to spend money with him (tours, breakfast, lunch etc). We decided to do a night tour, Lake Tarapoto tour and lunch and it was all so worth it. Charlie's tours are in español so with our basic Spanish Charlie's was patient, slow talking and hand gestures, as nature/animal lovers we loved it! Charlie also said he had an English translator that he could contact if we were to do other tours (Peru tour for example). The prices were fair and the same as other we'd been quoted and we absolutely wanted to go with Charlie over anyone else as he has such a lovely, happy, excited, friendly way about him, he was just as excited as us when we saw things :) Charlie arranged our boat there and back for us, and we were met by Daniel at the dock who took us on a small boat a short walk to the accommodation so not once did we have to walk through town with our bags. The location of the accommodation is only a beautiful 5/10 minute walk to town (another great opportunity to spot new species of birds), all paved paths. It is lit up at night so safe to walk back at night too. The accommodation has 2 big ponds which the hut (and hammock) face. In here Charlie is breeding Pirarucú to give back to the amazon, as these are majorly fished by locals. ALSO, currently in the ponds with them is Fermin, 1 of 2 small Caiman who have made home there and will leave when they are ready. We looked out for them every day and could often spot a cute little head out of the water. We also had a regular visiting frog in our shower or toilet, which still to this day we did not ask if it was poisonous 🤣 we lived in harmony though. Here at the property try and find time to relax there for some time as when we did this we saw multiple species of birds and a small monkey (Leon Cito we think) !!!

Situé à Leticia, l’établissement Casa amazilia comprend un jardin et un barbecue. Il comprend une cuisine commune et une terrasse bien exposée. Nous avons passé un super séjour. L’accueil est incroyable, on se sent directement comme à la maison. Ca nous a fait énormément de bien après plusieurs jours dans la jungle. Merci beaucoup 😊

Situé à Puerto Nariño, l’établissement Maloka Napü - Ecodestinos comprend un jardin, une terrasse et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Pension un peu à l’écart dans puerto Nariño, très calme et très jolie. La famille est adorable, merci à Ismaël, sa femme, les enfants, la dame du ménage et Edilberto !! De très bons conseils et de superbes marches dans la jungle ! Bravo et merci!
