A recently renovated apartment situated in Portela, Rose silva features a terrace. Great location, at the foot of the volcano and in the middle of the village. If you choose to eat there, food is really great and you are welcome at the host’s.

Featuring quiet street views, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura in Portela provides accommodation, a garden and a terrace. The property has mountain and inner courtyard views. Jose is a great host. He took us around Fogo to see these really amazing places. The room was very comfortable, toilets and bathrooms very clean.There was always hot water running from the bathroom taps when needed. I was really thrilled by the craftmanship in the buildings . Jose used larva to build the house, and used recycled bottles in building part of the walls of the bathroom, so much sustainability on display . Jose was also very helpful when i needed to book a last minute flight back to Praia. Thank you Jose
