The breakfast was yummy and served on the roof. They helped us with a late checkout by giving us an unbooked room till 3pm.

In general, Aswan can get quite busy and hectic, it’s a bigger city. But if you’re staying here you will experience the serene magical river island vibe the place has, completely peaceful. And you simply take a short also beautiful ride on a boat to dive into wherever you want in Aswan - downtown or the close temples of Philae & co. The absolut best though is the owner and his wife, Sherif and May. You really see how much this place matters to them when they receive you and explain you every detail about how the place was built according to Nubian authenticity (while still proving a high level of comfort) and they give you THE BEST TIPS for a local experience in not only Aswan but all over Egypt. I told him his travel book would be a bestseller if he ever wrote one! He will also help you arrange everything. Also really enjoyed the early evening music with dance on the days we were there that the guests would join and get to know each other if they wanted to.

They made sure that we had everything we needed and had transport to and from the airport and train station. The location on the island was amazing and only a short boat ride away from the mainland. The rooms were super nice. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Aswan!
