Very helpful local staff, The room was comfortable for a family traveling with a child. The large size of the bathroom was a bonus. While the Mango is a a short walk through village streets from the ferry landing point on Elephantine, the staff made is easy to move our bags back and forth. The village itself was quiet, and very homely. People going about their lives, kids playing on the streets, no tourist traps. The ferry to and from the East bank of the Nile is also frequent, safe and inexpensive. Also all their electric plug points take both American and European two-pin (NB: Voltage is still local, so check compatibility)

All in all, a perfect stay - location is great, just a couple of minutes walk from the Ferry point, and very close to the Nubian Museum. Just beware, it's a sandy walk, so you'll have to carry your suitcase. Elephantine Island is beautiful - narrow, traditional streets, easy to get lost, but in a fun way. Google Maps is good for getting you home. The breakfast was lovely - a lot of variety and enough substance to get you well into the day. Lovely restaurant on the roof, looking out over the Nile. Perfect setting. Very modern hotel - rooms have everything you will need, and the shower is hot and powerful. JJ the owner is very helpful and considerate.

Nala Narty Nubian House & Organic Farm ligger i Aswan och har en trädgård, en egen strand, en terrass och en restaurang. Everything is INCREDIBLE! You have to stay here if you want peace, really good food, place out of this world. People are very friendly, the owner welcome to us and explain a lot of great details from the place. We didn’t eat and he offer us the best meal we ever had from their garden. We leave very early to our cruise and they arrange the transport and also give us a lunch box. We hope we can come back soon. The view of our room was amazing, we love every detail from the room. The bed was very comfortable!

The place is very nice, with kind and helpful staff. They offered hibiscus juice as welcome drinks and provided water throughout our stay. The owner Hafez was helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and design is modern and comfortable but with a Nubian style. It’s also fun to stay in the Nubian village and we got to see crocodile in people’s homes. There was also a nice restaurant next door that we ate for both nights so after all we had everything despite it’s remote location and we don’t regret staying there because Aswan’s city center also doesn’t have much for tourists.

It was a wonderful stay. Bibo and Mahmoud were very attentive and nice. We booked a private Abu Simbel tour through the hotel and it was wonderful. Sido (our driver) was an excellent companion during a long trip. Highly recommended.

They made sure that we had everything we needed and had transport to and from the airport and train station. The location on the island was amazing and only a short boat ride away from the mainland. The rooms were super nice. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Aswan!

King Mina Nubian House erbjuder boende i Aswan, 17 km från Aswan High Dam och 24 km från Tombs of the Nobles. We enjoyed our stay at King Mina so much! The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we were lucky to find this gem in the best Island. It was so peaceful and relaxing!
