After really disappointing hotels in Cairo and Luxor in the same range, this one really exceeded my expectations. It’s on an island, but don’t worry, it’s really easy and cheap to get across with a public ferry for 15-20 egp during daytime hours, and even during the night, when the price is 75-100 egp because they transport only you. The staff is really nice, the garden fabolous and smell so nice, the rooms are super clean (cleaning lady will empty your trash and make your bed every day), you get all the toiletaries and two towels, even complimentary peanuts awaits you in the room. In the main hall, they have a fridge with water and sodas you can buy for a regular price, and you can also use that fridge for you own food. It's super quiet since there is no traffic on the island. Having a quiet room is something you really need when you travel around Egypt.

If you pass through Aswan, do yourself a favor and stay at Nala Narty. It really is the best place I've ever stayed. The host, Sheriff, is the friendliest person in the world. He is always attentive to his guests and wants to make sure you get to know Aswan in a unique and different way, from the food to the culture. Nala Narty has direct access to the Nile River, where you can go for a swim. Sheriff and his team's hospitality is truly out of this world (not to mention Zazu, his dog). Not to mention the facilities, which are inspired by the Nubian way of life, with attention to every detail both inside and outside the room. It is the best place to stay in Aswan. I highly recommend it. si pasan por Aswan haganse el favor y quedense en Nala Narty en verdad es la mejor estadia en la que he estado, su host Sheriff es la persona mas amable del mundo siempre esta pendiente de uno como huesped, se preocupa por que conozcas aswan de una manera unica y diferente, desde la comida hasta la cultura. Nala Narty tiene conexion direct al rio nilo donde se puede tomar un baño. En verdad la hospitalidad que tiene Sheriff y su equipo de trabajo es de otro planeta (sumado a zazu su perro) Ni hablar de las instalaciones que estan insipiradas en como viven los nubian pensando en todos los detalles tanto fuera como dentro de la habitacion. Es el mejor sitio para hospedarse en Aswan sin lugar a duda lo recomiendo

Dolty Kato Nubian House is vibrant, colorful, and genuinely beautiful and the décor and ambience are a big part of what attracted us, and it fully lived up to expectations. We stayed as a family (me, my wife, and our 6-year-old) and the staff were consistently helpful and courteous. A special mention to Ms. Somaya for how she handled our arrival day. Our flight from Cairo was delayed by around 2.5 hours, which clashed with a planned guided tour. We arrived tired and with a hungry child, and I was struggling to coordinate with the tour operator and decide what to order. Somaya quickly contacted the operator, explained our situation in Arabic, and helped us order the right dishes and managed the whole situation calmly and efficiently, and it genuinely saved our day (A big shout out!!) The room was very clean and comfortable, service was spot on, and the restaurant views are excellent. Dinner was a highlight—eating on the banks of the Nile with truly delicious food and unique flavors was memorable (milder on spice compared to an Indian palate, but still fantastic). The hotel also offers tours and activities that looked well-priced, though we had already pre-booked ours.
