After really disappointing hotels in Cairo and Luxor in the same range, this one really exceeded my expectations. It’s on an island, but don’t worry, it’s really easy and cheap to get across with a public ferry for 15-20 egp during daytime hours, and even during the night, when the price is 75-100 egp because they transport only you. The staff is really nice, the garden fabolous and smell so nice, the rooms are super clean (cleaning lady will empty your trash and make your bed every day), you get all the toiletaries and two towels, even complimentary peanuts awaits you in the room. In the main hall, they have a fridge with water and sodas you can buy for a regular price, and you can also use that fridge for you own food. It's super quiet since there is no traffic on the island. Having a quiet room is something you really need when you travel around Egypt.

Bonita Chillhouse is gelegen in Aswan, op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. Nice easy going guest house. The owner was super friendly and made us a good breakfast served on the roof. The entrance is not maintained but once you're inside everything is clean and colorful.

JJ Guesthouse ligt in Aswan, op 22 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en minder dan 1 km van Nubisch Museum, en is voorzien van gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. We absolutely loved the guest house - the hospitality, the food, the location, the rooftop terrace - everything was perfect! We also appreciated that the owner helped us organize the activities (airport pickup, Abu Simbel & Luxor private transfer), which reduced the stress of planning by a lot. Three location is very quiet and romantic, we enjoyed Aswan the most out of the biggest cities in Cairo. All in all, 10/10!

Nebro Nubian Guest House - Adults Only bevindt zich in Aswan, op 18 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 11 km van Nubisch Museum, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning, een terras en een... High vibes, lovely staff, great beds and shower. Really nice and helpful host!

Nubian Soul Guest Houses heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Aswan. De accommodatie ligt op 23 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en heeft een bar. Vriendelijk personeel, warm welkom. Grote, propere kamer met comfortabele douche en goed bed. Leuke ligging op het elephant island. Prima prijs-kwaliteit. Wij kwamen terug van een nacht in Abou Simbel en hebben op 3/4e van een dag de Philae tempel bezocht, boottocht tussen de eilanden gedaan en naar de Nubian Village geweest. Er is nog meer te zien maar voor ons was dit voldoende in Aswan, na al een hele culturele reis te hebben afgelegd.

We spent four nights in that lovely place on the Elephantine Island. The guesthouse is ideally located on the bank of the Nile and faces the spectacular Aga Khan Mausoleum atop the West Bank's cliff. Fabulous views from the comfortable terrace at sunrise and sunset! You can reach and leave the property by boat on request ( private and free service) or walk through the Nubian Village to or from the public boat station - a boat will regularly ply between the Corniche in Aswan and the Elephantine Island: we loved it as we could see everyday life and meet local people each time! The guesthouse has two lovely rooms, large and well-designed, comfortable and very quiet, with easy access to the terrace opening onto the river - magic and so so peaceful! Breakfast is prepared on request and the food (whether it is fish or meat) is so delicious and so generous that we quickly chose to stay at night and have dinner - home-made food in a family-run property, another blessing! You will quicly feel part of the family and share blissful and inspiring moments with Mostafa and his nephew. Excellent value for money, with cheap shuttle to the boat station (EGP 500) and perfect service whatever you may be willing to do during your stay. We do recommend "Nile Bride" to any visitor(s) in Aswan - Egypt at its best, in a gorgeous natural and human environment!

King Mina Nubian House bevindt zich op 17 km van Aswan High Dam en 24 km van Tombs of the Nobles, en biedt kamers in Aswan. 's Ochtends opgepikt door een bootje van het hotel, heel fijn! En goede en gezellige ontvangst op prachtig dakterras door Baki. We voelden ons zeer welkom.Hotel is gelegen aan de rustige kant vh eiland en je loopt zo naar restaurants en barretjes. Kamers zijn heel comfortabel en schoon. Jammer dat we geen tijd meer hebben gehad om je nieuwe hotel te zien Baki. We hebben het heerlijk gehad op Elephantine island. En communicatie met Baki via whatsapp helemaal top!

Dolty Kato Nubian House By Kato Dool heeft een terras, en biedt kamers in Aswan, 18 km van Aga Khan Mausoleum en 11 km van Nubisch Museum. Het was schoon, we werden fijn opgehaald op het vliegveld, personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en het eten was heerlijk. Airco deed het ook goed de activiteiten is goed geregeld en de service is waar ze er echt uitspringen tegenover andere hotels.

New Abu Simbel Tourist Hotel bevindt zich in Abu Simbel, op 2,3 km van tempels van Abu Simbel, en biedt accommodatie met een restaurant en gratis privéparkeren. clean, tidy and very friendly staff. room is in a great condition. great value and much better service comparing with what you experienced in luxor and aswan.
