Jimmy’s brand-new hostel is the most comfortable I’ve stayed at in Egypt. It’s very clean, well-equipped, and perfectly located near the station with plenty of buses nearby.

- Beautiful views of the Nile and corniche! Both the bedroom and the common area had huge windows with incredible views. - The location is perfect…directly across the street from the public ferry to Elephantine Island, and walking distance to cafes, restaurants, ATMs, pharmacy, etc. Since the hostel is on a main road, it’s easier to set up pickups and dropoffs for InDrive rides (some of the other places in Aswan can be difficult for drivers to find) - The hostel is brand new, and everything feels very fresh and clean. The big common area is nicely set up for both relaxing and meeting other travelers, and also has a kitchen that’s available for guests to use. - The private double was really big and spacious, with a huge comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets. And of course, the gorgeous view of the Nile! Overall, such incredible value for the price!

I stayed at another hotel in central Aswan for my first night, but it had too much of a party vibe, so I decided to cancel and move here for the next two nights—and it was the best decision I made.! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the balconies overlooking the Nile are simply breathtaking. It was the perfect place to wind down after a busy day. Very clean and comfortable beds. The temperature here feels cooler, and watching the sunset from the balcony was unforgettable. Marwan was incredibly kind and easy to talk to. He really made sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The pickup from the pier by Hamu was also smooth and very welcoming. I spent hours just sitting on the balcony. This side of the island is so much quieter, more beautiful, and it was magical. It became one of my favorite memories from Egypt trip. The whole experience felt cozy and deeply relaxing—especially watching the sunset with the botanical garden in the background. Thank you so much, Marwan. It was such a wonderful stay.

Karim the owner was waiting for us at midnight for the boat ride to the guest house (part of the service) and offered us a free room upgrade. He arranged tours and car, transfer from airport at good rates. Nice rooms and a sunny terrace for breakfast. The property is located in a quiet and safe area (as the rest of the Island is). Free access to kitchen and washing machine. Overall, the guesthouse is great value for money. Karim his friend Mohamed the rest of the family are lovely people, friendly and helpful. New larger rooms will be ready shortly. - The area totally safe all day and night making it easier to find the guesthouse at least the first time. And this adds to the adventure - - - - The place is very clean, and everything in it is brand new. The design of the place is modern, and the treatment from the owners is very kind and welcoming—they greeted us with smiles and treated us so nicely. The food is also absolutely delicious. Honestly, I wished I could have tried their signature dish, which is molokhia with eggs, but I missed out this time—maybe next time! As for the location, it's great and even offers a boat to Aswan if needed. They also have a very beautiful rooftop, especially in the morning when the ambiance is amazing. The only issue is that the view of the Nile is partially blocked, but overall, the experience is wonderful and the place is well worth visiting, especially because of the friendly people."

Quiet amazing place, very friendly owner that helped me to get to the hotel from Abu Simbel temples. Host Hamza in the hostel is very sweet genuinely friendly man. Breakfast was great. Sorry there are only 10 points max that I can give ❤️

When we arrived at the ferry dock in Aswan, we were greeted by Ebrahim, the boatman from the guest house. He & his friends/relatives helped to carry our luggages down the stairs to the boat. The boat ride to the guest house was absolutely breathtaking, we were so glad we decided to stay on Elephantine Island. Once we arrived at the guest house, one of the hosts, Omar, invited us to the rooftop to have our welcome drinks. So we sipped our hibiscus tea while enjoying the beautiful view of the Nile River during sunset, it was so serene. We had dinner & breakfast the next day on the rooftop as well, Abu Nasser is an amazing chef! Omar & Abu Nasser were very warm & welcoming, we felt at home right away. The location of the guest house is on the quieter side of Elephantine Island, facing the Aga Khan Mausoleum across the river, it felt very peaceful. There are no cars, tuk-tuks or motorcycles on Elephantine Island, so we walked everywhere, to the ferry dock & to the restaurants. It was honestly a very enjoyable walk because we got to see how some of the locals lived. Our rooms were clean & nicely decorated, each room had the view of the Nile River. The shower pressure & the WIFI were good.

The host was very welcoming. The hotel is well thought out with many unique design choices that align with the context and nature of the location. It is perfect for relaxing and getting to know more about aswan and Egyptian culture in general.

Truly a home away from home, the location, staff, facilities. Loved the local vibe and cleanliness. The owner also is very kind and will make sure you are fully settled.
