They stored our bags on new year night, which we spent in Rovaniemi, and put it to our room, which was the same (bigger) room! That was very nice of them. Also they provide many recommendations. The breakfast had many options, and was tasty. There is kitchen and unlimited coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the hotel, which is very practical in winter. We also enjoyed the sauna.

The vibes of the old school are still there which looke really cool. We accidentally booked a wrong date, but the host prepared a room either way. Everything was clean, including the kitchen, showers and sauna.

The flat was warm and quiet, and has everything described. The host's communication was excellent, and though we didn't meet, we felt very welcomed. Thanks for the chocolate that was waiting for us! There were various touches that made it a nice place to stay with kids, and ours definitely looked forward to coming back every evening. It's an easy walk from the train station. It was manageable even with luggage in stormy weather.

There was a piano, board games to keep us engaged. Jannis, our host explained about the history of the house and the traditions followed by the local people. We also got to see northern lights during the night. The house was super spacious for 3 people. I would highly recommend this place!
