The resort is amazing, and a lot of tours are offered by them. Breakfast was good, food was fresh, including coffee and tea. The location is a little bit far away from everything else - we chose it on purpose like that but to highlight for another tourist.

Set in Kemijärvi, 46 km from Suomu Mountain, Jauri Resort offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. Arctic- apartment Evakko has a balcony and is set in Rovaniemi, within just 500 metres of Rovaniemi Art Museum and 600 metres of Korundi - House of Culture. Very clean. Nice interior. Very warm.

The flat was warm and quiet, and has everything described. The host's communication was excellent, and though we didn't meet, we felt very welcomed. Thanks for the chocolate that was waiting for us! There were various touches that made it a nice place to stay with kids, and ours definitely looked forward to coming back every evening. It's an easy walk from the train station. It was manageable even with luggage in stormy weather.
