The host was attentive and responsive, offering plenty of helpful tips and recommendations. His restaurant, located just below the hotel, was fantastic – quick service and delicious traditional food. Don’t miss the stuffed vine leaves – a real treat! We’ll definitely be coming back on our next visit!

The place really has a character which you are looking for when you come to Hydra. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing, from the moment we got there we were treated very nicely. The hotel arranged for someone to meet us at the pier and bring our bags to the room, we were greeted by Damian who was very polite and friendly once we got the hotel. Check in was seamless. The actual property itself was beautiful and really well kept. The location is ideal and steps away from everything you would need. 10/10!! Will be back !

Smaragdas Paradise ligger i Hydra, 5 minutters gang fra Paralia Avlaki Strand og 500 m fra George Kountouriotis Manor. Her er gratis wi-fi og aircondition. Smaragdas’s house felt like home. It was welcoming, spacious, beautifully decorated. To have two full bedrooms, plus a kitchen, dining room and living room was wonderful for 3 adults. The mattresses were very comfortable. The property was meticulously clean. The hiking on Hydra did not disappoint. I appreciated Smaragdas explaining the history and customs of the island as well. It was very quiet on the island being in the middle of winter. But there were numerous restaurants and lots of supermarkets open during our stay.

We loved this place. It’s huge and extremely well renovated, and the family was super helpful. We were there in February, but the place warmed up nicely. We enjoyed looking out at the water and my daughter loved sitting in the window and reading.
