Situata a La Viña. Situato a pochi passi dalla spiaggia di Ribera Rio Dulce, il Round House Hotel offre sistemazioni fronte spiaggia, un ristorante, un bar e un giardino. Right from the beginning Victor and Louis together with nice dog Baluu welcomed us at the deck. Going above and beyond during stay. Victor prepared for us amazing food and hight quality drinks in the middle of the jungle(!) Louis helped us plan next day and all the activities. The view is amazing especially for the sunset. We felt like home during our stay. Thank You very much!

El Hotelito Perdido is a little jungle hideaway located in a middle of Rio Dulce National Park. Everything 😊 It’s a little gem of a place in a paradise setting! Food is wonderful and you won’t go hungry that’s for sure. There’s plenty to do and it’s very affordable. The team (staff and owners) is super sweet and always there to help make your stay happy and easy. Thank you for such an amazing stay!!!

Set in Puerto Barrios, Hotel Posada Stella Maris offers 5-star accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge. There is big enough and clean room with nice moutain views balcony. Also there is shared kitchen can be used. Very warm and helpful host. It is located Santo Tomas de castile, easy to take a taxi ( 30 GTQ ) or chicken bus( 3GTQ) from puerto Barrios center. Recommend to take couple days to chill out. There is walkable to beach and waterfall. The accommodation fee all goes to charity.

Set in Izabal, 45 km from Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, Reserva Natural Cañón Seacacar offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Perfect place hidden in a small village. It’s the only accommodation in the village and has been build to help the local community. The first language in the village is Q’eqchi, the children are now learning Spanish in school from about age 5. The staff of the hotel is from the village and for them it is a place to learn and work in tourism. They are all very friendly and helpful. If you want to have a great Guatemalan experience in one of the most beautiful places of Guatemala, where the crowds don’t go (yet), this is where you want to go! I reached the hotel by a two hour trail that is insanely beautiful, constructed by the people of the village, easy to follow and a good climb to two wooden miradors with lake and jungle views. Always with the sound of absolutely fantastic river ‘sauce’ on the background. The next day I went down on a tube and they carried my bag down. The tubing in the river is what will drop your yaws!! Absolutely beautiful, a cañón with high Walls on both sides. Everything is well organized and clean. It absolutely worth a visit! I’m writing this review because I could not believe that I was the only tourist there (on a Saturday)! You will not regret your visit and you will probably (hopefully) write a similar review to help this village and the people creating a better future for there town. There are several projects ongoing, including deforestation! Go and enjoy jungle, river and peace while enjoying great food and comfortable accommodation(affordable too!)

Hostal Blood Moon is situated in Rio Dulce and has a plunge pool and pool views. This guest house features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. It was in walking distance of the ferry but off the road so you didn't hear the traffic. The host was lovely and we very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

L'Hotel Kangaroo. Situato a Rio Dulce, il Las Mexicanas offre un ristorante, un bar, un salone in comune e un giardino. La struttura vanta camere familiari e una terrazza solarium. This is an amazing and unique stay. The only way to get to it is by boat and with that, you already know you're in for something unique. The staff were very helpful and helped us with whatever we needed. We stayed in the shared dormitory and it was just amazing

Situata a Lívingston, a 2,2 km dalla spiaggia di Ribera Rio Dulce, la Casa de la Iguana offre numerosi servizi, tra cui un ristorante, un bar, un giardino e la connessione WiFi gratuita. Il posto è incantevole, il personale gentile e disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi tipo di problema ( anche esterno alla struttura). Il cibo e le bevande all'interno della struttura sono più economici che fuori. La posizione è centralissima e tranquilla. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è wow. Ma la cosa migliore è il giardino con le amache per rilassarsi, uno spettacolo per tutti i sensi.

Immerso nel cuore della giungla, a 3 km dal centro di Livingston, la Finca Tatin Hotel offre un ampio giardino, una terrazza arredata e un'area con amache. If i have to select 1 place in Central America, this would be the one ! This property is magical. Placed in the jungle by the Rio Dulce is just perfect little paradise. The whole staff is great, perfect, nice , professional. It was a pleasure staying there. I sure will be back. For the digital nomads, if you need to do some loadings, you need to know that it will take you 3 to 5 times more time to work. But then again, you have the perfect environment and it's a great place to slow down.
