The owner Milena was extremely thoughtful and sent us a very detailed message on how to find the apartment and recommended places to visit. She was always available to answer all our queries! The apartment was clean, comes with toiletries and our favourite was the small balcony in front of our door which had the best view! Definitely coming back here if we ever visit Matera again!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice & modern design walls. Fully equipped common kitchen near reception. Dzina was very helpful and gave us very good advice where to go and do.

Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Absolutely fabulous stay. Great location, comfortable rooms. Spa was lovely and relaxing. We dined in restaurant onsite and it was absolutely fabulous- a great meal and experience. The maitre d' was a lovely person and he really added to our experience. I highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant for a high- class experience. Would love to stay here again.

Set in Matera and with Matera Cathedral reachable within 500 metres, Il Palazzotto I Residence & Winery offers concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi throughout the property... The location was perfect within the city. The room had plenty of space for two adults, two children and a small dog. The breakfast was simple but excellent.
